Go the extra mile please when cleaning rooms

The room was nice and the place is a boutique hotel. They left a lot of dishes and such each day in our room. Even though the bed was made. It appeared they just made the bed. No sweeping and no removal of dirty dishes.

Wij sliepen in een suite met wellness, maar wat een gedateerde kamer zeg! De shutters waren kapot en functioneerden niet. De kranen waren een ramp om warm/koud water uit te krijgen. Het bed was volledig doorgelegen en we werden met vreselijke rugpijn wakker. De kussens zaten vol met vieze bruine vlekken. Bij het optillen van de topper zat alles vol met haren. Het bedovertrek was ongestreken. De afstandsbediening plakte. Het ontbijt (extra bijgeboekt) was een teleurstelling. Vrijwel alles was op en moest je vragen om bij te vullen terwijl de dame achter de zogenaamde “live cooking” (niet meer dan een eitje of omelet bakken) niks te doen had. Zonde van het geld! Bij het uitchecken werd ook niet gevraagd hoe het verblijf was. Jammer allemaal. Want het gebouw is erg mooi en met wat meer aandacht en een fikse update zou het een enorme verbetering zijn.

Erg gehorig hotel. Bedden waren op meerdere geboekte kamers niet schoon, dus onhygiënisch. Lampen super onhandig aan te doen omdat er geen standaard pasje meer is om dit aan te doen bij binnenkomst. Dit is in het donker mega irritant. Aangegeven bij receptie. Vriendelijk meisje, maar gaf aan dat het niet zo hoort en zou doorgeven. Was fijn geweest als er iets direct mee gedaan werd naar ons toe.

Villa Ruimzicht is een prachtig gebouw met mooie ruime kamers, maar voor zover wij konden zien is er op veel plekken wel wat achterstallig onderhoud. Op onze kamer deed het speciale toilet (Geberit) het niet, zakte de drempel bij de badkamer door, liep het water in de douche niet goed weg en waren de rolgordijnen smerig. Ook de trap en de algemene deuren waren smoezelig. Jammer, want verder echt een heerlijke plek om te verblijven en leuk personeel. Het restaurant Lokaal is zeker een aanrader!

Ruimzicht: kamer: geen grote spiegel, geen prullenbak, op badkamer kleintjes. Bureau zonder stoel. Douche fluit irritant. Wastafel gescheurd. Geen waterfles op de kamer, geen koelkast, behalve tandepoetsglazen, geen drinkglas. Ontbijt: voor 20 euro ZEER mager, 2 snijkaas, 2 worst, geen camembert,geen salami, geen echte keus. Gekookte eieren koud. Zaterdagochtend stonden de 2 dames de hele tijd te kletsen achter de toonbank. Water was op, melk was op,moest ik om vragen. Vrouw met paardenstaart vanachter toonbank,ging zelf mineraalwater halen en dronk het glas daar leeg, bij de klanten Pelligrini, was steeds leeg, moest ik om vragen, gewoon slecht. Niemand ruimde tafels af. Een klant ging zelf van n andere tafel bestek pakken.Zondagochtend iets beter, maar veel drukker,2 meisjes die afruimden,waren perfekt. Gewoon slecht overal voor 20 euro! Voor de kamerprijs plus 20 euro ontbijt gewoon slecht. Prachtig gebouw, prachtige omgeving, makkelijk parkeren. Manager zondag in roze jurk, lachte alle "klachten" weg. Personeel gewoon niet goed. Terras: goede meubels, hele slechte bediening, oude vaat stond lang op tafels. Geen kaarsen bij avondeten buiten. Onromantisch.

Mooie ruime kamer met goede bedden. Maar absurde badkamer: gescheiden door alleen een glazen wand tot circa 2,30 hoogte (de kamer was zeker 3 meter hoog), zodat alle badkamer en toiletgeluiden konden worden gedeeld door kamergenoten.

Design belangrijker dan functionaliteit?

Hotel ziet er mooi en modern uit, maar de functionaliteit laat zo hier en daar te wensen over. Er is één lift, maar die is erg traag en er hangt een briefje op "buiten gebruik". Op de kamers mis je opbergruimte, een kast is er niet. Twee laatjes en een rail met 4 knaapjes is veel te weinig voor twee personen. Geen koffie of thee faciliteiten, geen koelkastje, twee oncomfortabele stoelen zonder een tafeltje om een glas op te zetten. Een douche die door zijn rondingen veel te krap is en een glazen planchet boven de kleine wastafel, waar ik verschillende keren mijn hoofd tegen gestoten heb. Kortom, het ziet er allemaal leuk uit, maar de kamer vonden wij beslist geen 4 sterren waard. Ontbijt was voldoende maar beperkt.
