The hotel is still under construction and amenities that are listed as available such as gym, pool are actually not finished and they are not available. Expedia also advertised as this place having a crib however, there was no crib available.

ok for last minute

we booked last minute as we were going through dodge city. the front desk staff was very friendly and quick to get us checked in. we booked this property online and it didn't tell us the property was undergoing construction and the pool area was off limits. we mainly booked so we could use the pool area so was disappointed in that. the room was noisy too (room 212).

A discount would be appreciated! No mention of the pool and fitness areas closed for renovations. The lobby is also kind of a mess and a surprise to walk in to.

I have stayed here before and it was fine but this time they were undergoing construction (which is not an issue if they have revealed that on the website so you are aware of it before you book). I booked with intent to use the pool and fitness center both of which were unavailable. I had to check out earlier than I intended and go stay at other hotels in the area that did offer these amenities as I was in town for 4 days. Would possibly stay again in the future once construction is complete. Front desk staff was very understanding of my situation and issued a refund for the rest of my stay without hassle.

The rooms were spectacular,clean and housekeeping was awesome. The fact that there is remodeling going on at the same time - everywhere is a huge inconvenience. No swimming pool,no workout room, no front desk, remodeling going on in the breakfast area and the coffee machine was not in service was just about all I could handle. If it was for a longer stay than 2 nights I would have moved hotels.

La Quinta being Renovated

Again another LaQuinta being renovated- gym and pool closed- a mess in the downstairs area. I understand that they have to renovate but that should be on hotels.com’s site when you book. Strong smell of glue when you enter.

Refrigerator did not work. I asked front desk if they could send someone to come fix it, they did nothing . They said it gets turned down by housekeeping when people leave the room. I turned it on myself it never got cold . Lights did not work. Wall plug circuit breaker by the kitchen sink had to be reset every time we turned off the light switch right by the sink.

I was very disappointed because the hot tub and pool being closed for renovation. (That was the main reason I booked this location). I was not told by the front desk, and we had to find out after we got settled in and got ready to head to the indoor pool, only to find out it was closed. Very disappointing! I understand everything needs renovation at some point in time. Although, the renovation was NOT mentioned online nor through the confirmation email of the booking. I was really counting on having the amenities to help entertain the family. VERY unhappy about the pricing of the stay as well, because of not having all the amenities that were listed when I booked the hotel. Also, house keeping did not clean/pick up dirty towels or restock the room. On the positive side the room was better in person than the pictures, and beds were very comfortable. A/c was very good, and kept the room cool at all times.

Hotel is currently is being renovated. In time it will probably be a wonderful place to stay. Currently it has torn up flooring and partially done projects in every part of the hotel that we needed to use. My room was above my expectations but it also had a couple unfinished projects. We had been told we could use the pool but that was not really a possibility with cords everywhere and dust coating everything.
