Modern furnished apartment, quiet location behind the SCHMUCKWERK shop, which it also belongs to, in the center of town,

Diessen am Ammersee is an artist place. You will find pottery, goldsmiths, sculptors and a workshop with a leather studio, painters etc.
With the train you are in about 1 hour at the Oktoberfest in the center of Munich.
From the apartment you can reach all sights in about five minutes. They have access to the lake in St. Alban in the lido, you can let your boat into the water at the DSC.

Cute, quiet spot
We had a great stay. The apartment was exactly as described. We left the windows open for the cool night air and we slept well through the night. The town was very quiet when we visited (June, before school break), but it was just the quiet lovely space that we wanted. The town felt very safe and we’d easily recommend this apartment for others. Thanks, Rudolf, for your assistance and email contact throughout our stay.

Eine sehr gemütliche und besondere Unterkunft, die Lage ist traumhalft, direkt unterhalb vom Münster, mit zwei ganz charmanten Draußensitzen,bei besserem Wetter fast ein bisschen ein italienisches Gefühl. Die kleine Küche war vollkommen ausreichend und die "fehlende" Tür zum Erdgeschoß überhaupt kein Problem.Der Vermieter Herr Geißl war ausgesprochen freundlich und seine Tips äußerst hilfreich. Wir kommen gerne Wieder!

So nicht vermietbar
Wir waren mit unserer 14-jährigen Tochter und unserem kleinen Dackelmix dort. Leider ist die Wohnung in unseren Augen so nicht vermietbar. Es gibt zur Wohnung keine Tür, nur einen Vorhang. Im Erdgeschoss ist eine weitere Ferienwohnung. Insofern gibt es von dort einen freien Zugang zur Ferienwohnung oben. Für Kleinkinder und einen interessierten Hund birgt die steile Treppe eine Gefahr. Für 3 gebuchte Personen gibt es nur 2 Stühle. Die Tischplatte des Tisches liegt nur lose auf. Als Kochgelegenheit dienen 2 externe Induktionsplatten. Schublade und Schrank in der Küche sind nicht ordentlich montiert und schief. Das Besteck, Teller, Töpfe und Gläser waren nicht sauber und so nicht verwendbar. Die Steckdosenleiste war sehr verschmutzt. Das Geländer auf der Terrasse ist nicht verschraubt. Der Vermieter empfahl, sich hier nicht anzulehnen. Das dritte Bett (Klappbett) mussten wir selbst aufstellen und beziehen. Die Bettdecken selbst sind u.E. etwas zu kurz. Einen Parkplatz gibt es nicht vor dem Haus. Wir mussten auf einen ca. 300 m entfernten Grossparkplatz ausweichen, der am Wochenende kostenpflichtig ist. Im TV sind nur öffentlich rechtliche Sender empfangbar. Leider kommen viele Punkte (Parkplatz, fehlende Tür etc.) nicht in der Beschreibung vor. Die vielen positiven Rezensionen können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Die Wohnung sollte so nicht vermietet werden. Evtl. kann eine objektive Begutachtung für mehr Transparenz sorgen. Am Ende sind wir einen Tag früher abgereist.

Gemütliche Wohnung in Top-Lage
Wir verbrachten zwei angenehme Wochen in der Wohnung. Gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung. Wer keine hohen Ansprüche an die Ausstattung hat, ist hier richtig. Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder.

Unser Eindruck
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter verlief hervorragend, Objekt entsprach der Beschreibung und war sehr gemütlich, sehr gute Lage wenige hundert Meter vom See, vielen Lokalen und dem Münster entfernt. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen war die WLAN-Verbindung, die im Appartement selbst nicht funktioniert. Lediglich am Treppenabsatz gibt es etwas Empfang. Sonst aber alles Prima.
