The Space:

Amenities abound at SunDestin Beach Resort; some of them include outdoor and indoor pools (heated seasonally) to enjoy the sun without the sand, our outdoor hot tub, great for relaxing, a gift shop to grab souvenirs for everyone back home, and complimentary DVD rentals in the lobby, plus so much more! Additional seasonal amenities include a tiki bar, and beach chair and umbrella rentals (for an additional fee). Even more, SunDestin has a 24-hour front desk where the Scenic Stays team is always available for anything you need. We’re sure it will easily become your go-to beach vacation spot.



SunDestin 1706 is a bright, one-bedroom condo with breathtaking views of the waters of the gulf. When you walk into the condo, you’ll pass the bedroom and two bathrooms- one full and one half. A fully equipped kitchen is located at the end of the hall and has a breakfast bar with seating for three to enjoy meals or sip coffee in the mornings. An open concept living and dining room offer seating for everyone with a table for four and a comfortable sofa and armchair. Enjoy the large flatscreen TV with a DVD player in the living room at the end of a day exploring the Destin area. Outside, the balcony has seating for three and is the best spot to enjoy the views of the Emerald Coast. With a queen-sized sofa bed in the living area and a king-sized bed in the master, there’s enough room for up to four guests in this condo.



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Gorgeous ocean view

We had an awesome time. The view was incredible and the location was close to everything. The fridge desperately needs updating and the rug on the floor is a trip hazard as it curls up. Everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

The view and location of hotel was excellent. The king sized bed was great. The living room furniture was worn out, leather ottomans were peeling. Floors were not swept well. Kitchen served its purpose. Bathrooms were fine.

Bad smell

The 1st thing you notice on entry is the smell of mold. The 2nd thing, it was immaculately clean. Once you are inside you no longer notice the smell. Not sure but think there was a water leak in the bedroom ceiling. It’s been fixed. Overall we really enjoyed the facility and our trip but the smell was rough every time you walk in the door.

My husband and I stayed here for a week. It was a great location. We highly enjoyed the balcony, we were able to see a lot of dolphins being so high up. Everything was as described and would recommend!

Beach vacation

Everything was good, few issues with apartment were fixed by maintenance, only issue we noticed towards end of stay were ice cubes in freezer were stuck together and our carton of ice cream was level in carton, I think freezer goes into defrost cycle too long
