checking was easy / location on the water / with available boat docking .room was clean good view of the harbor / on the second night out room ac want out / i called the desk employee named lady came . we were moved to a even better room at no charge within just a few minutes . worked out great

This was the third year we've came to Destin and stay at Destin Harbor Inn. Hotel is seeing so wear a s tear. The hallway is missing carpet, the balcony facing the ocean need some cleaning and painting. Overall, hotel was acceptable to stay and staff were friendly. Love the service to be dropped off at local restaurants vs driving. Breakfast had a good selection.

Heavy smoking in the property makes it so you can’t leave your balcony doors open and enjoy the harbor view. Rooms are so dirty that I’m 90 % sure they didn’t even wash the sheets. No towels or TP in room. Continental breakfast is dry oatmeal and packaged pastries. Close walk to boardwalk though

Great location

Great location and staff. They actually under charged me and I made sure I pointed it out and they got their money. A gap under my door that I could put my foot underneath it. The towels had other peoples hair still in them, no place to put any clothes in because there isn’t the very first drawer. Not even in bathroom. BUT with all that being said, it is the 3rd or 4th time staying here. Yes it is a little “so-so” with some things but the location makes up for it. On the bay with a beautiful view. You can walk everywhere. Parked my car and never got in it till we left. Never ever feel unsafe here and walking everywhere. They can’t control kids/grown ups slamming doors, running or talking loud at 1-3 am in hallways, but they will make sure you are taking care of doe what they can do.

The hotel is a disaster. All toilets are not fix to the floor. Noise is not tolerable. Staff is the only plus here but they can't do more if the owner does not take care of the facility. Maybe that's the reason they have only one picture in the website (Expedia)
