Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year in Destin and staying at Destin Golfgate. We stayed in a different unit but it was equally as clean and beautiful. We love the layout of the condo, the heated pool and the beach service. We won’t ever stay any where else. This place is perfect!!My only complaint is that we booked a condo that became unavailable due to some required renovations. The management emailed the change but the message was buried after the travel insurance advertisement so it was missed until a subsequent billing email was sent. Upon calling the office I was advised of the change but wasn’t satisfied with the new unit location. I requested another and that was fulfilled but not until I was reminded that it is not typical to be moved but it does happen and is in the rental agreement. I guess a call would have been appreciated and some choice be given for the alternative condo. It could have been handled better. This doesn’t deter us from returning just awareness that guests can be moved from the condo they booked without notice or choice!
