Great stay

We had an incredible time, condo was just as described. The location is perfect, everything you need within 5 minute drive. Location to the beach and pool was perfect. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful!

We had a great time on our vacation to Destin. The condo was perfect and a super close walk to the beach. Everything was very clean and the staff at the front desk were exceptional! We will definitely be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 103 has been my favorite condo at Holiday Surf and Racquet club. The layout is functional with the bunk beds that my kids loved. It was very clean and all the furniture was top notch. The best part is walking from the balcony and straight to the beach to grab your spot with 2 beach chairs and an umbrella included in your stay. We enjoyed the beach every single day.

Only downfall was a crowded beach and laundry access. There are 2 floors for laundry. I was waiting over an hour to put my stuff in the dryer because of people that left their laundry in dryers.

All amenities were provided except salt and pepper shakers and the bed needs to be cleaned underneath. :(. We dropped something and looked under and it’s filthy. But you couldn’t see anything unless you looked. The place is wonderful, and I highly recommend it!!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the price we paid for the condo on the beach! The property staff were very kind and courteous and helpful during our stay. We would have liked for the dry sauna to have been opened, but it is still closed due to covid. The staff set out plenty of umbrellas and beach chairs on the sunny days so we were able to get a chair even though we went out at 11:30am. We had a bit of a bug issue that we brought to their attention that we hoped they took care of before it was rented to the next guest. Even with that episode, we will definitely be back again to stay at the Holiday Surf and Racquet Club!

The property description is perfect and property is maintained and clean. This was the first time staying in 103 and really enjoyed it. Only drawback is you are unable to see the beach and water due to the sand dunes. We enjoy sitting on the balcony and looking out over the water. We have stayed at Holiday Surf and Racquet Club several times and have never been disappointed. If unit 103 had a gulf view, we would probably stay there every year. If a gulf view is not a priority, I would suggest unit 103.The umbrella and chair service is a plus. An excellent place to eat is Boshamps.

Nice location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit is on ground level which is nice but you can't see the ocean because you are so low. Looking at the back of a sand dune from the patio. But you are also out of the wind so that is good. Unit is dated, the carpet in the living room needs replaced..everywhere else is tile. Killed 6 roaches but they were small ones and very friendly. Door on the refrigerator is backwards so you have to step around it to get into it. That works as long as you are not to wide! Parking lot was under construction, but it appeared that was going on everywhere since it was the slow season. Owner could spend a couple weeks of the rent on this place and make it really nice. Front desk folks were nice and helpful.

Different than in the Past

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was nice, again. But some of the changes made are not (in my opinion) good for the person paying a high rate for a place to stay. Smoking (I don't) but many in my group do and to have 1 small section "out of the way" is :( Next is the beach chair disaster. No longer will the attendants reserve your umbrella, instead you have to wait until 9AM to line up like a black friday sale to race to try & get an umbrella. When you have a group of more than 1 room, that can be hard. AND making the kids wait until 9 to go to the beach, torture. Why not 7? or 8? The gentlemen at the desk were above; the ladies, not so much :(
