The worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life.
I had a prepaid reservation through Expedia for September 6–7, 2025 under my name (José Eduardo Lopez Salgado). After driving more than 12 hours, I arrived at 3:20 a.m. on September 7, only to be treated with complete disrespect by the front desk clerk.
Without my authorization, she charged my credit card. When I questioned her, she admitted it was a mistake but said she couldn’t fix it until 8 a.m. because she was “new.” When I asked for my room keys, she refused unless I gave her my card again. Afraid of another unauthorized charge, I declined. Her response was shocking: rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. She told me to “go find another hotel,” raised her voice at me, refused to call a supervisor, and even threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave.
I never raised my voice, never insulted anyone, and remained calm the entire time (something the lobby cameras can confirm). Only when another staff member, Marisa, arrived was the situation resolved—but not before I was again threatened with removal if I was “rude” to the clerk.
This hotel allowed a single employee’s incompetence and hostility to completely ruin my stay and damage the reputation of the Hampton Inn brand. An unauthorized charge, verbal abuse, threats, and a total lack of accountability—this is simply unacceptable.
If you value professionalism, respect, and basic hospitality, avoid this property at all costs.
