The room was small. But that’s not the main point. The bedside ‘tables’/space was very limited. Worst thing was that the shower area had just half a door - there was no shower curtain, so the water from the shower would flood the bathroom.
I have to call out Sakshi for a great check-out experience. It was early in the morning but she was alert and offered to pack me breakfast the night before. So kudos to her for her efficiency and thoughtfulness.
The hotel manager was very friendly and conceded to the bathroom flooding issue and offered to send up extra towels to block the water from flowing onto the main floor.
In any case, given the price I paid (Expedia said it was a 5-star hotel, which it was not, and definitely not what I expected from the Taj brand) the hotel could have been better. I am fine with the quirkiness, but the price did not match the amenities.
