The room itself was clean, comfortable, and equipped with sufficient amenities, which we appreciated. However, our check-in experience was disappointing. The front desk agent was evasive and undertrained when we asked whether our back-to-back bookings could remain in the same room, and instead instructed us to return the next day to check in again, which is an unusual request. Upon entering the room, I discovered an exposed nail in the closet drawer that punctured my hand, and the room phone was unusable as the person on the other end could not hear me. It was also strange that no key card was required to activate the room’s electricity. As instructed, we returned the next day to recheck in. We hoped to stay in the same room and have the reported issues addressed while we were out. Instead, we felt pressured to move, which made us suspect the room may have just been released from out-of-service due to availability. We accepted the suggestion and moved to a different room on another floor, though we had expected a gesture of goodwill or an upgrade given the circumstances. Breakfast was chaotic, with little sense of order. Our seats were taken while we briefly stepped away, and we both experienced an immediate reaction to the food, which is something that had not occurred at any other point during our time in India. Overall, while there were no major issues that totally ruined our stay, there were several aspects that left much to be desired.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, good restaurants, and the beds were comfortable. We had outstanding massages in the spa as well. Giving a 4 star rather than 5 because our first room had a strong chemical smell which was making us ill - we were even wearing N95s in the room. Switching to a new room took way too long. We called and an operator said Reception would have to call back. We waited an hour, then called again and was told the same thing by the operator. We waited another half hour, no call. I had to go downstairs to the front desk to ask in person before it was taken care of. Apart from that, other interactions with staff were good.

The first room we were allocated was dirty - carpet filthy and blood in the bathroom. We requested a move and the second room was clean although still looking tired. The main areas of hotel were much better than the rooms. The service was very good and the staff very courteous. Lunch was ok but very expensive. Breakfast had a lot of selection and was very good. We hired a hotel car and driver for 4 hrs to take us to places and that was excellent and an excellent price. The driver acted as our guide which was great. However when we wanted a hotel car to take us to another venue and drop us off they wanted to charge us the same amount of money that we paid for the 4 hrs. We ordered an Uber which cost us a fraction of their price. It’s a good location for the airport but the rooms need a serious upgrade!

Skip this hotel. I had checked in around 10 pm. The room smelled of toxins- some type of chemical smell or paint. The tv was having a problem working. I called around 1 am since I couldn’t handle the smell. Housekeeping came and sprayed it but that was a quick fix. It didn’t last. In the morning it smelt and the hallway did too. I told the front desk and they said they were doing some cleaning however it was very unpleasant.
