The check-in to this hotel is awful - I have now stayed here twice and the same experience was had each time. Last night, arriving very late and hoping to get some rest before an early flight, the check-in staff were again very slow. There were 3-4 people behind the desk at any given point in time. They asked for my passport and then told me to go wait in the lobby for 5 minutes. When they called me back, I was told that I had booked for the domestic wing, not international. This was not true and I showed my Travelocity receipt to prove this. Five more minutes passed as they talked to someone on the phone and kept mentioning that I had booked through Expedia which I told them was incorrect several times. About 20 minutes after I first arrived, they slapped a key on the counter. I waited then asked what the room was - they then got a key card holder and told me my room. I walked away, exhausted, then got called back and asked for my passport again. Then I headed down to my room...and the card didn't work. Walked back to the desk, got them to recode, then went back to the room and it was finally working. Room was fine - although lots of wear and tear (e.g., towel bar falling off the wall). Checkout in the morning managed to take 10 minutes even though I had pre-paid for the room and spent a total of about 4 hours in the hotel. I know there's no competition but you'd think an international brand like Holiday Inn would have more pride in their service.

Location is key for the weary traveler. The wifi is also better than before and easier to connect to, but still had some choice quality issues when on a work meeting.
