Located across from the Decorah fish hatchery and bike trail, you will enjoy a beautiful scenic getaway while still being within approx. 2 miles from downtown Decorah. Enjoy exploring the waterfall and fish at the hatchery, fishing in the trout stream or taking a stroll along the bike trail. You might even spot a Decorah eagle! Updated house features a large living room plus family room for you to spread out and enjoy yourselves. There is a TV in each of those rooms along with WIFI. Large eat-in kitchen with coffee bar is stocked with all necessary items for you to cook during your stay. Don't want to pack a lot? There is a full laundry room for your use. Decorah Wedding

My family, ranging in age from 54-94, stayed at the property while we were in Decorah for a wedding.The place was spacious and fit all of us comfortably.We had a problem with the WiFi and the owner was in constant communication and even came to the house to remedy the situation.He was very friendly and we had everything that we needed to have a wonderful time, which we did.If I’m ever out there again, I’ll be sure to look up this place again.Everyone raved about the accommodations and the amenities.Definitely give this place a try if you’re ever heading this way.

Trout run road

Enjoyed our time in Decorah. Lots of hiking fishing and shopping. Mark’s house was a great home base for 6 of us. Plenty of beds and room. Screened in deck with a stream in the back yard was great. Location to the bike trail and trout hatchery were a big plus for us.

Great Family Getaway!

We are a family of 10. Our group included Grandma and Grandpa moms and dads, and four kids, all under the age of three. We love having the fish hatchery and the trails nearby, and really enjoyed the enclosed screen porch and the big yard area! It was also nice to have the two separate living rooms, for when families needed a break or quiet time. Your house is now lovingly known to our grandkids as the fish house! We sure do look forward to returning again!

Family time.

Exceptionally clean, and lots of wonderful gathering space, especially the large porch made a terrific spot for spending time with my siblings and their spouses. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed being in the country and near the fish hatchery but a quick drive to town.
