The location was great, everything else was severely lacking. The front desk was remotely manned; there was never an actual person at the front desk. Housekeeping was marginal. The drain plug in the bathtub was broken. The swing bar security device on the room door was broken. The property overall needs a facelift.

We were not ompressed and would not recommend to others. Remote person for check-in, never saw an actual person at the front desk. Housekeeping was marginal. Swing bar door guard was broken. Drain plug in bathtub was broken. The entire hotel needs to be spruced up. The only positive was it's location.

Horrible conditions

Well, I went to check in. The front door was propped open with the rock and there were some men outside cat calling me and I am a mom with two children. There was nobody at the desk had to use the kiosk. The room was dirty. The comforters on the bed were stained, and there were cockroaches on the beds. I only stayed one night and asked for my money back for the other two.

Would not recommend this stay at all. The place was like a ghost town. No staff anywhere. The check-in kiosk was ok, just weird. The room was dirty. Multiple stains on sheets, floor, pillows, and walls, dirty bathroom including roach traps. Basically felt like I was in a trap house. I didn’t even stay the night. Def not worth an extra $100 convince fee, which I’m still waiting on but doubt I will receive it back.

i didn't like the atm front desk experience. although there were washer/dryer there was no card or mobile paying option and there wasnt anyone at the front desk to get quarters from... not very convenient for that reason. The vending company has not filled the machine in a very long time. only the bottom row has vending options. Breakfast was tasty.. But hours need to be 1 hour longer.

Nice overall, but weak water pressure in shower

Overall it was a good experience. We stayed in room # 103, my only real complaint is that the water pressure in our shower was terrible. It was very weak and I barely got to enjoy it. A nice hot shower at the end of the day was something I was really looking forward to.

I don't like to automated check in. There is no one on the property. People just drift and and out. My shower had no head. Just an open pipe I had to stand under. The breakfast was a joke. A few packs of cream cheese. Some sausage and a loaf of bread. Had to eat next door

Breakfast was closed when it said it would be open by 6am on a Monday morning. Stain on the top sheet hope it was washed. One of the side doors didn’t have a handle on it and didn’t seem to be locked from the outside. Didn’t feel very secure. There was never a front desk employee durin your stay.

The property had a video reception. Every thing smelled good, seemed clean, almost too quiet, but the breakfast room was devoid of anything but neon cereal and waffle station. The expected hot and cold food storage, but no hot food and only a few yogurts in the cold case. No attendant, no way to summon anyone. Reporting at vid desk did nothing. If it hadn't been so close to where we were visiting, I'd left. But it was clean & quiet!

We were there for 1 night, I changed for 2 other rooms amount was almost $500. I was very up set.The hotel tried to say that it was my bank or expedia that changed me. For a couple of days, I was refunded some of my money. I had to get expedia involved because the hotel kept making excuses on what happened. And when expedia called, involved, the manager stated again refunded the money, I was still miss another refunded and then the excuses came off no it's your bank no it's Expedia you need to talk to them. They finally, after multiple calls for me & and expedia, the hotel refunded the miss money they owed me. If I ever go back to Destin, I will never use that hotel or that type of hotel because you don't charge people for two rooms and deny that they didn't even charge you absolutely terrible.
