You get what you pay for but more and more the prices are going up and quality down. It was good to see alot of properties being worked on good to see daytona rebuilding it beach front area. Mar is a dent and scratch hotel and they would not dispute this fact only proplem is I think the furniture was on its third or more owner. Mosly clean the normal areas that get negeleted are here as well bath room, sink area dirty and tub area could have definitely used some love. The ice bucket is never cleaned and this one did not disappoint. There running bare bones and it showes.

Great stay! Absolutely will visit again!
My fiancé and I stayed at Chateau Del Mar recently. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! We had a great view of the ocean from our balcony and had the best time! They are currently going through some renovating but there wasn’t too much mess to deal with which was nice. Once the Reno’s are complete I’m sure the place will be even nicer than it already is. We will absolutely be staying there again and would recommend friends and family to stay with them as well.

This motel cast a dark cloud over our trip. Their WiFi was down and there was no cellular or internet signal in our room. I asked the front desk woman about it and she told me I was the first person to ever say that to her. Ummm … ok?? She said that must be why her security cameras weren’t working. 😯 She was super dismissive and not at all trying to help us. Also…The room was dirty. There were fingerprints on the mirrors and grease on the pleather couch. The door chain lock was broken. There was something growing in the bathroom along with the build up of grime and dust. There was what looked like spilled yogurt by the bed. We left immediately and booked somewhere else.

Accommodation was clean, it could do with some re-decoration, bed linen was clean and fresh. The resort is in the beach which is perfect and no problem with parking. We was given a Wi-Fi code, but this did not work, other than that the resort overall was ok.

The front desk and staff were all amazing and very nice. The pool was beautiful. The room was terrible and there was no door in the bathroom. And I should not have looked at the mattress. They are remodeling though so hopefully the rooms will be remodeled as well.

I loved my time here. Yes, the paint is peeling and Yes, the door hinges are rusted, but if you can look past that, it’s a great place. It’s very clean and quiet. Right on the beach with is a huge plus. The only downside is parking is very limited, almost every night I had trouble finding parking. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel & I would definitely visit again.

Rooms should be a little cheaper during renovations we had paint chips from pressure washing all over are car and had to move it today and first night we got here we were sent to a room that hadn’t been. Cleaned and then the room we got had dirty sheets asked for new blankets and was given a mattress cover!!?!?
