Disliked: Staff & service
The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The hotel's location is also ideal, making it easy to get around Dar es Salaam and especially convenient for reaching the airport on time.
I stayed at this hotel while travelling with my daughter, who is under one year old. During our stay, she accidentally dropped her sentimental O-ball toy, a special gift from her father and we forgot to pack it. When we returned, 3 days later to ask about it, no one was able to locate it or provide any meaningful update on what may have happened. I understand that misplaced items are not always recoverable, but what was most disappointing was the lack of communication. Even a simple explanation—whether it had accidentally been discarded during cleaning or any other information about what might have happened—would have been appreciated. Instead, we were left without any answers.
For a hotel that prides itself on professionalism, I expected a more thorough effort in tracing the item or, at the very least, a clear and honest update. The uncertainty and lack of follow-up made an already upsetting situation even more disappointing.
