Beautiful property, but the service and overall experience fall short of 5-star expectations.
The hotel looks impressive online, and the bed and bedding were comfortable. However, the stay itself did not live up to a 5-star standard.
At check-out, staff focused on chargeable laundry and hair-dryer cover bags (which I returned unused), yet failed to flag my personal belongings left in the room. Recovery was slow, expensive, and ultimately impossible due to timing. This was a service oversight, not guest negligence.
Breakfast was plentiful but bland โ local street vendors offered far better Vietnamese food. The best part of the buffet was the fresh fruit section ๐.
The beach was closed in late DecโJan due to high tides and storm damage. The area appeared tired, with washed-up waste and uprooted trees. Thereโs little to do beyond sunbathing or cold pools, and most activities are charged.
Thankfully, thereโs a shuttle to Hแปi An โ without it, thereโs very little reason to stay at the resort.
A special mention to Hoan at the front desk, who was lovely and helped organise the Hแปi An Memories Show and recommended authentic local restaurants, which genuinely improved our trip. Overall, however, the hotel requires significant improvement to justify its 5-star claim.
