Great Value river view hotel in central Da Nang

Fivitel Da Nang truly everything in one place! Delicious food, relaxing full body massage, hair wash & treatment, gym, swimming pool… and on top of it all, the breathtaking Babylon Garden We booked for 7 days, loved it so much we extended for another 7. The view is amazing from the room and very affordable. Location in by the river and close to everything. We had stayed at the beach but ti was too loud, we moved inland for some peace and relaxation. Has desk and fast wifi. Highly recommended, would stay there every time.

Nice room & hotel but if you’re a minority just know you will be watched with a fine tooth comb!!! They want to know your every move!!! On the day of checkout, they had a worker go check the rooms before we left to see if anything was broken & or missing. They had the nerve to say one of the stupid fake phones was not in the room!!! I said what?!?! GTFOH!!! No want your dumb $5 phone! I would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone! Racist hotel!!!!

Two knocks: 1) After house keeping on one occasion the cleaning staffs left behind a dirty towel of their own on the back/shoulder rest of the room’s sofa bed/couch; just a minor issue. 2) Now this is a serious issue, albeit not entirely the hotel’s fault. Long story short, the floor in which we stayed at was filled with cigarette smoke even though the hotel is supposedly a smoke free environment. The smell was weak initially, but later became unbearable. At 11:30pm or so when we communicated the issue with the front desk, the hotel staffs said it was too late too handle the issue and that they’ll remind the guests on our floor to not smoke. Given the time, I didn’t request for a room change or anything at the time but did so early the next morning, which I was then told to wait until between 12pm-1pm. I’m assuming the wait was because there were no rooms of the same room type available at that time but one is opening up but only after the guest(s) checks out and house keeping takes place. Were there any rooms but of different room type available at that time? I don’t know. The aforementioned was my assumption, but what really happened should’ve been communicated to me (barring language problems then it’s entirely understandable but the staffs seem to be fluent enough in english). At 12:40pm or so I got a call saying that my new room was ready. The inconvenience was I had start my day late. Looking back, the staff should’ve reminded guests at check in about not smoking.

Fivitel Da Nang offers solid value for money, especially for those seeking friendly service and scenic views. The staff were excellent – consistently professional, welcoming, and eager to help, which really elevated the overall stay. The hotel enjoys a great position along the river, and the views – particularly from higher floors and the rooftop infinity pool – are outstanding. Watching the sunset over the Han River was a real highlight. However, there are trade-offs. The hotel is located on a very busy, noisy road, which can be disruptive if you're in a street-facing room. It’s also slightly removed from the main tourist areas, though this is reflected in the competitive pricing. The facilities are mixed. The fitness centre is poorly equipped and feels neglected. The decor throughout the hotel is dated and in need of refurbishment. The on-site restaurant was also underwhelming, both in food quality and overall presentation. In summary, this would likely be a 3-star experience based on facilities alone, but the excellent staff and beautiful river views justify a 4-star rating. Ideal for travellers who value service, views, and affordability over luxury.

We had a fantastic stay! The staff were amazing—so friendly and helpful. After an issue with our first room, they kindly upgraded us, which made our experience even better. When my friend got sick, they went out of their way to take care of us, which we truly appreciated. The room was spacious, quiet, and spotless. The hotel's rooftop offers incredible views, and the breakfast had a great variety of options. We would definitely stay here again!

Property location and view is awesome. One must do improvement for them is to add shower curtains as the whole bathroom is gets totally wet and you will find water on the floor all the time.
