Nice hotel central to beach and riverfront

Great clean roomy hotel 10 minute walk to beach, 20 minute walk to Han river with its bars and restaurants. Local sights easily accessible by taxi or walking from hotel. Overall great hotel in great location.

Close to shopping mall

Walking distance 5 min to Vincom Mall. The challenge is crossing the street to the mall with continuous traffic. Don't worry about the motorbike as they will avoid you once you decided to cross, please don't stop in the middle of the road as it is more dangerous. You need to avoid those truck and car. If you decide to wait for clear traffic, then you may not have chance to cross the street. Behind the Vincom mall is Han's river where you can view dragon bridge in the night. Hotel staff need to improve their english as they spoke real minimum. they do better in written english than spoken.Service is good. Since it is low season, we are the only guest in the hotel. Breakfast is provided but no coffee. Don't expect good breakfast but "Pho" is good enough. Hotel staff help to arrange tour to Bana Hills and My son sanctuary.

Complaint / It's so risky to book via hotels.com

Avalon hotel canceled our booking when checked-in, but we didn't get any notice from you. Please recheck this issue with Avalon / Xpedia and return our payment for hotel fee asap.

Old, unfriendly staff, dim light at lobby

We have fully paid on expedia for the room, but our customers arrived at late night around 1am, however, this hotel says, late room access is available, then we booked, when my customers arrived hotel, the staff say our rooms are all occupied, then we may suspect they thought we will be no show, then sell our room out to get "double pay" to earn more, because they sell in cash + no show payment from site. Avoid stay here. Because wont expect they don't even have another single room to accommodate us.

최악의 호텔

정말 어이 없었습니다. 처음 방에는 죽은 벌레가 백만 마리쯤 있고 욕실에는 날아다니는 벌레가 많아 다른 방으로 옮겼는데 두번째 방은 방의 가구와 커튼에 곰팡이가 많이 펴서 눈으로 보이는 정도였고 냄새가 엄청나게 나서 도저히 있을수 가 없어 세번째 방으로 옮겼으나 곰팡이 냄새는 어쩔수 없었습니다. 조식포함이었으나 먹을것이 없고 직원들의 짜증내는 듯한 표정을 보고 화가 났습니다. 호텔의 위치도 용다리 건너 시내와 많이 떨어져 교통비가 많이 나왔습니다. 해변도 엄청 멀리 있습니다. 바로 양 옆과 맞은편의 술집(?)에서 젊은 사람들이 아주 밤 늦게 까지 술마시고 음악을 크게 틀어 놓고 떠들었습니다. 다시는 가고 싶지 않은 호텔입니다.
