Description
Enjoy the central yet quiet location of our vacation apartment in Duhnen. You can quickly reach the nearby spa towns of Sahlenburg and Döse or the harbor, where the ferry to Helgoland departs. Enjoy the view of Neuwerk from the Duhnen promenade. From the Elbe estuary, large container ships departing from the Port of Hamburg set sail on their long journey out into the North Sea. Or watch the cruise ships as they set off into the wide world. In Duhnen, you’ll experience a genuine feel-good atmosphere by the North Sea all year round.
The Location
Apartment 307 in the Vogelsand building is located on the edge of the idyllic Duhner Heide. The building is centrally located in Duhnen. You’re just 800 meters from the promenade. The apartment is located on a child-friendly, traffic-calmed cul-de-sac with a well-maintained playground behind the building. On the promenade, the North Sea—with its beautiful, fine-sand beach, the promenade itself, many restaurants, and various shopping options—is right at your feet.
Amenities
The 3-room apartment, approximately 76 m², is equipped to accommodate 4 people (up to 5 people, including a third child).
It features a bright, spacious living room with a sofa, TV, a dining area with 6 chairs, and access to a small, furnished south-facing balcony overlooking the Duhner Heide, a kitchenette (with a small oven including a broiler), an exhaust hood, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso or coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster. The bathroom, with a shower and toilet, is located on the first floor.
The two spacious bedrooms are located in the basement. On hot days, you’ll find a pleasant coolness and a comfortable indoor climate here. The first bedroom has a double bed and a large closet (with mirrors). The second bedroom is equipped with 3 children’s beds and a closet. Both bedrooms have roller shades.
The apartment includes a free parking space located directly across from the swimming pool. Apartment 307 is easily accessible via a short footpath. The apartment is for non-smokers only; pets are not allowed.
Special features:
The modernized swimming pool, complete with a steam sauna, Finnish sauna, and a spacious shower area, is located right next door in the neighboring building. It’s just a short walk away and can be used free of charge during opening hours. There is a small fee for using the saunas.
Free Wi-Fi is available.
In the basement, there is a spacious Miele washing machine and a Miele dryer. The appliances can be used for a small fee.
A lovely children’s playground with a swing is available for young vacationers.
The swimming pool will be closed from 04.01.2027 to 29.01.2027. It is noted that the swimming pool is to open at 3:00 p.m. on 29.01.2027 due to the start of the school break.
The saunas will be closed from 15.02.2027 through 26.02.2027.
Visitor’s Tax
As a rental company or agency, we are obligated to collect the applicable visitor’s tax on behalf of the City of Cuxhaven and remit it to the City of Cuxhaven.
In addition, we charge a service and processing fee of 3% of the accommodation price.

Note: Bed linens and towels are not included in the accommodation price. If desired, you can conveniently add a bed linens and towel package for €30 per person. This way, you can arrive relaxed and travel light.
We provide the following starter kit for each guest:

- one dish towel
- one roll of toilet paper
