We had such a nice stay in this incredibly charming property. The staff was nice, the room was clean and quaint and it had everything you could need. It was extremely convenient to the amenities of town and the area attractions. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I have stayed here twice now. These are such cute little private chalets. They are nothing fancy, the bathrooms are very small, for example. It can get kind of cold at night up there, even in July. But it was nice and quiet. Easy check in. I left very early in the morning so checkout was just leaving the key. They are always friendly. The only minor concern was I didn’t really have any hot water. I was afraid to even take a shower because it was so cold so I just washed up. But I’d stay here again. It’s unique and quiet.

We love the chalet motel. We have stayed there six years in a row. We love the owner. It’s very quaint of course it’s older so we know what to expect. We will come again next year.

Quaint place

Great little hotel. Rooms seperated and ac in back room. Toliet is in one room and sink in the other. Would definitely stop there again. Breakfast is snacks!

It’s a great, quaint place to stay. Our room had everything we needed. A side kitchen area with a little morning food provided. Plenty of hot water in shower and very comfy bed. If I’m back this way, I’ll definitely stay here again!

It was very nice that we had a detached chalet to ourselves. There is a great deck in the back which we used every night. Staff is super friendly and the motel is within walking distance of everything in Custer. It is also about a 15 minute drive to Sylvan Lake.

Did not have a little “house” like I thought we would but it was a nice set of rooms adjacent to the office. It was clean and quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. Close to downtown Custer and the state park.

This is an old hotel with all utilities. My room was small, but fine for me. Your breakfast is already in the room when you arrive. I had a coffee, muffin, yogurt, and an apple for my breakfast. When you leave, you just leave the key in the door and go.

On our way home from a lengthier trip, the Hotel was nice for what we needed. The place was cute and took on a vintage style. The rooms are small but they were adequate. Breakfast was already in our room which was nice.

This is a great little stay. You are about 45 minutes from most attractions in the Black Hills (a little more for Badlands and Devil's Tower). Becky was great. We had a 2 queen room (1 Queen with a chair and tv and another Queen in a separate bedroom with a desk. The rooms are a good size. It's a clean place located near shopping (Dollar Store right next door) and many restaurants within a short walking distance or drive.
