Close to the lower mainland in far enough to feel like a vacation. Resort needs updating and old building needs to be updated. The carpets were filthy.

The property itself feels outdated (colors, carpet, general furniture) except the pool area, which is gorgeously placed with trees all around. We always stay in the Heritage building, which has very outdated rooms. However, the beds are comfortable and there are different bedding configurations to choose from. The furniture layout though, is problematic. The TV stand/dresser was blocking the mirror, which meant we had to take turns using the mirror in the bathroom. The bathroom is very small and tight, and did not have any ventilation at all. You could not have more than 1 person in the doorway/bathroom at a time. When we checked into the hotel, the front desk said they'd send an extra robe to our room (there was 3 of us). When we got to our room, there were no bath robes or bars of soap. Apparently, they ran out of soap according to the house cleaner. When 1 bath robe was delivered, we requested 2 more. She said she only had the one and we'd have to contact the front desk for more. She absolutely could not wait to move onto her next delivery. The pools are at the right temperatures and the steam room is nice and hot! The change rooms/washrooms get dirty though from all of the foot traffic. The shampoo bottles in the change rooms appear to have body wash instead. The staff at the Island Bar were somewhat busy during dinner time, with 3 of the staff hardly acknowledging me . Their caesar salad was bland and did not include any protein. The yam fries were soggy.

The facilities are great, however the rooms and hallways are very dated and in desperate need of renovation. At almost $500/night, it leaves the feeling like someone is cashing large checks and living life without reinvesting in the property. Carpets are stained, drywall full of holes, didn’t get any pool towels all weekend. Felt a bit insulting after spending $1000 bucks. No explanation.

The resort overall is dated, price is reasonable if the facilities are newer and up kept. EV charging fee is ludicrous, they have slow level 2 charger but only with level 1 speed and they’re charging by the minute.

The room is great, and the hotel itself is what we remember from last time. The only problem is the other customers! Loud kids in the quiet areas and vaping/smoking when it is supposedly not allowed in the pools. I really wish there was a monitor of some sort…instead, it just makes us not want to come back. My daughter also found a dead mouse on the pool deck.

We were in the second phase of Harrison Hot springs resort. None of the hotel has not been renovated for at least 30 yrs our corridor smelt of wet dog due to a water leak in the winter. Carpets were stained and rippled, completely worn out, bed was old and one dresser unit, we really could not believe the state of this hotel , corridor smoke detours still had the construction cover caps on, any smoke would not be detected if there was a fire and the price we were paying was top end five star pricing range, it was almost as if we had checked in to a seedy motel joint. Totally disappointed with the stay there. The pool was good and we had dinner at the copper room restaurant which the food was awesome. The whole resort needs a major make over for the price they are charging. Would not be staying there until this issue is fixed.
