We requested a crib for the baby, but they said it was not possible for our room, even though there was enough space. The room and its furnishings were very old. One of the elevators was not working. The restaurant closed at 10:30 p.m., whereas a resort like this is expected to have a night bar. The hot water pool itself was good.

The staff was friendly, our room was ready even though we arrived a little early, the views were great and we weren't even in a room with a balcony. The little town is totally walkable with an easy hike nearby and some others a short drive away. We loved the local restaurants and the spa was freaking incredible! Best massage I've ever had. But book in advance b/c they have zero same day appointments available. And the spring pools were amazing on a cold night below a full moon. They provide robes in your room and a fan too! The only thing I would advise you to do is remember there are going to be people below you and above you and so don't go expecting total silence. It's busy all the time but a good busy. There aren't an overwhelming amount of places to stay so it keeps the crowds down. The Copper Room in the hotel has a section for people with minors so just be aware it gets booked up so I'd make a reservation if you have kids. There is a cafe in the hotel serving Starbucks along with a gym. The parking is currently free if you stay there. We stayed in the West Wing and although it's dated I found it quaint. It's not stark white like a board room with a bed in it lol. The elevator is a little small and can take forever so we took the ramp and stairs most of the time. Bring flip flops for the pools especially in the winter, the ground is freezing lol. This place is probably boring for kids in the winter but I recommend it highly for a couple or someone looking to just rest.
The view from the entrance of the hotel looking towards town.
Christmas decorations that were all over the place.
The view of the lights around the lake.
The inside lobby (there's also a giant fireplace and tons of seating.)

Everything was very good and relaxing. I believe that with some renovations, the hotel could stand out even more. And could improve the overall experience.

Check in was terrible. 1 hour waiting in line. Front desk staff showed no urgency and were happy to let others cut in line for “quick” questions while the long lineup was ignored. Hotel is dated, then again, it is the 100th anniversary so that’s to be expected. Room is very clean. Impressive. Staff at the restaurant are excellent!! Food was very good. Top marks. Pools are unmonitored. The supposedly quiet adult pools are anything but. Signs everywhere but no enforcement. Disappointing. Ok value for cost, but not sure we’d come back.

Our room wasn’t ready at 4:30 and when we got into the room there weren’t any robes or pool towels. The housekeeper gave me an extra towel but I think there should be extra staff hired to ensure the bedding and rooms are ready for 4:00 check in. 4:00 is already a late check in. Staff were courteous and helped out with my room key issue so that was a plus

The Resort itself is good, but the room (303) is absolutely horrible. The windows is so tiny and high and it faces roofing; I dont even think its ok to let some stay there. The room is great as a closet/maintenance/utility space but absolutely not acceptable to stay there. Please remove that room from service - show some respect to your guests.

For the amount they charged, the stay didn’t worth it. They didn’t have slippers and even robes for the pool, they barely had enough towels, Tea and pastry used to be amazing at Harrison resort, now it was only the tea container and you could have chosen two cookies or two pieces of loaf! I understand the prices on everything has gone up but they relatively pulled the prices up too! So the service didn’t match the price.
