We had a great stay here for a few days visiting Mammoth Cave and the surrounding area. The location will be much more convenient to the park when the ferry reopens, but we still found it easy to get around and felt safe in the community. The cabin is laid out well for a family to stay, and has nice features for kids. Our preschooler loved the kids nook and some of the books and games there. All the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathtub was a standout feature. We had most of what we needed to cook a couple meals at the cabin, there are a few convenience stores nearby to get what was missing, and we also enjoyed some local places to eat.The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into making this place updated, cozy, and welcoming! It's a great value option for visiting the area.

It was more like an hour from mammoth cave compared to what previous reviwes said, but we found it a good location if you're also going to explore hidden river cave and the Jesse James stables/outlaw cave. The host was very responsive and helpful and the cabin had everything we needed for a couple nights.

The home is very comfortable and has what you need to enjoy your stay. We spent our days exploring Mammoth National Park, the Diamond Caverns, the Corvette Museum and Churchill Downs. All of these visits are a must. TJ is a great host and ensured we had what was needed prior to our arrival.

Everything was just perfect!! Very clean and cozy cottage..... Beds were great, sofa and other furniture was comfortable. Cute nook where kids played.
