The room was simple but clean. We liked the white duvet covers. The fridge, microwave and coffee pot were nice to have. A blow drier in the rooms would be nice. The pillows were a bit hard. We would stay here again.

Booked a pet friendly room and the office staff seemed concerned about the size of the dogs then charged me a random rate based on the dogs’ size (they are Border Collies). I’m all for paying a pet fee, but theirs seemed extremely high given the condition of the room with unmatched and slip covered furnishings and dishware that looked like it was procured at a yard sale. The pet run out back, while nice to have access to, was muddy and when we returned back to the room, there were none, except 2 sheets of blue paper shop towel, to clean up with. The sign in the room said these were also to be used for other messy jobs, such as cleaning off your makeup!! The linen was clean as was the bathroom and the water pressure was good, but they didn’t even provide a hair dryer which should be a bare minimum for amenities.

Rented several rooms for 3 & 4 days in a row and found the accommodation to be inconsistent; 2 out of 3 rooms didn’t have a working bathroom fan just a cover as if there was a fan and A/C was iffy in all but 1 room. I found the communication from the staff to be frustrating; I was charged an additional $136.40 but none of the staff were able to explain why. I made sure to declare my pet several times including on the sign in paper and online but fear I was charged their didn’t declare pet fee which is frustrating as I am always upfront about my pet and made sure he was only in 1 room. I found the front desk new hire to be helpful both at check-in and gracious while trying to help with the TV in 1 room. The maintenance man who scared away some creepy locals was also helpful in trying to explain the extra charge and helping me check back into our 2nd reservation. The area is a drive or 15 minute walk to other amenities. Other than the 2 scary locals wanting cigarette butts and yelling crazy slogans our stay was quiet and we enjoyed the rooms. Smokers can smoke outside the room; weed smokers can use the patio area which is nicely decorated. I feel they are trying their best to renovate and make manageable updates to the property. 2 out of 3 rooms found their beds to be comfortable but wished for different pillows. Housekeeping was wonderful; we made sure to tip well and would have tipped the maintenance guy for all his bravery had we seen him before we left. Overall decent.

The tub had what looked like black mould around the caulking. There was no nonslip mat for the tub. My husband & I both slipped not not hurt. Water temperature fluctuates significantly from med, hot cold would not stay there again.
