“Cowes Sunset Retreat” is a delightful double-storey family home in central Cowes, just a short walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs, the central hallway provides access to Bedroom 2, which has BIR and access to a dual entry ensuite/bathroom (with shower & toilet), a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine and clothes dryer) with direct access to the rear yard, and a Study (with desk). At the rear of the home is the huge open plan Kitchen (with WIP)/Dining/Family Room (with 65" smart TV) that leads out to the covered Alfresco.
Upstairs is a central Rumpus Room, a gigantic Bedroom 1, which features a 40" smart TV, Retreat, WIR and ensuite (with shower & separate toilet), Bedrooms 3, 4 and 5 (each with BIR), a central Bathroom (with bath & shower) and a separate Toilet.
Outdoor Areas
The huge covered rear Alfresco (with gas BBQ & seating for 6 people) overlooks the pet & family-friendly enclosed rear yard which features an enormous 10-seater electric-heated swim spa and an outdoor shower. The Garage is not for guest use, but there is parking for 2 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in the driveway, plus additional parking on the street.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and 5-burner gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are three wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioners in the home; one each in the downstairs Kitchen/Dining/Family room, the upstairs Rumpus Room and Bedroom 1.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 10 beds, and 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 16 guests:

Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
