I’ve stayed at Crown Isle many times and know that the Glasgow building is pet-friendly. This time, I booked a room with a full-size fridge and requested in advance not to be placed in a pet-friendly room due to allergies. When I arrived, I learned for the first time that the only rooms with full-size fridges are exclusively in the pet-friendly building. This was not stated on Expedia. I explained that I cannot stay in pet-friendly rooms due to allergies. The front desk mentioned an upgrade fee to move, and I clearly said I was not agreeing to pay extra, and that I didn’t need the same room type — just a non-pet room. I was reassigned to another room, and there was no indication that this would result in a higher rate. My expected total was CA $238.84, but I was charged CA $320.85. The fridge in the reassigned room was smaller, so we could not fit all of our food. In previous stays, I’ve been moved out of the pet-friendly building for allergy reasons without any upgrade charge. I am requesting the difference be refunded, as I did not authorize a rate increase.

Beautiful room, bed and bedding. Lovely staff and it's pretty close to the hospital which was my reason for the visit. Grounds are pretty and well maintained. Not a fan of the no cannabis policy but I wouldn't even take a star off for that. My stay was super nice and reasonably priced.

We enjoyed everything during our stay in the deluxe cabin. The accommodations were wonderful, the cabin was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed having the separate bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, the kitchen counter with stools to eat our meals that we prepare in the fully equipped kitchen. I particularly enjoyed starting my day by drinking my coffee out on the little deck with a 2 seat patio set. There I got to enjoy the scenery and watch the early morning golfers. The way the deluxe cabins are arranged you are completely secluded from the other cabins even though the cabins are relatively close to each other. We needed more coffee pods which the reception desk was more than happy to grab for us. In addition to the stay at the cabin we ate dinner one evening at the timber room and everything we had was delicious. I would have enjoyed spending more time here.

The area is lovely for long walks. Our room was very good. We had a good breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed coffee in the deck. We arrived early in n the morning and did a “soft” check in, we were told we’d be called as soon as our room was ready but never received any further communication. Rooms are not made up every day- this is not a complaint at all but guests should be made aware.
