There was a small double mattress on a very large bed frame. It was not comfortable. There was only one bath towel for 2 of us. There was a saucer missing. My room wasn’t cleaned as requested ( only the bed was made) The staff were friendly.

Room was clean, bathroom clean, lovely fluffy white towels. Enough packing places in the car park. Breakfast was lovely and fresh, only found out on our second day of stay that I could have requested a tea pot. I also suggested instead of bowls with marmalade/jam, could small pots be provided to put the jam into. Two complaint, one resolved, we only had one bedside lamp on the first night, I let reception k ow and on the second day a second lamp was delivered. Main complaint was the the TV came on automatically and woke us up at 04:30 on both mornings. It was reported and an attempt to resolve it however it happened again. I couldn't sleep after that. Otherwise the staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

The room was advertised as having a bath. It was initially in the annexe next to where there was going to be a party the following night. It had no bath. It had a shower. When I asked I was moved to a room which had a bath. As I approached this room, I noticed a cold in the corridor and the room was freezing. I wanted a bath but the water was barely lukewarm. When I reported this the man said he would turn the geezer on to heat the water. However, the water was still cold that night. I will never return to this place again. Shocking

I thought the room was very comfortable. Nice and warm too given the cold temps. I appreciated the vegan options on the menu. Would have been good to have some green and herbal option tea bags in the room. Staff particularly in the restaurant were nice and friendly.
