Encompassing the best of island living, this one bedroom, fully equipped cottage is situated only steps away from Parksville's most popular beach, and just a short 5-minute drive to shopping, great restaurants and all that the Oceanside community is famous for.

Upon arrival you will discover this little cottage tucked away in the secret garden, and your senses will come alive with the ocean breeze combined with the quiet and tranquility of this seaside community.

Inside you will immediately feel at home. The open floor plan encompasses a light filled living room, dining area and the perfect kitchen for all your vacation needs. A separate bedroom welcomes you with a queen sized bed perfect for one or two guests.

Take a quick stroll to the front of the property and you will immediately be swept away by the expanse of Rathtrevor Beach and the views of the surrounding islands.

Only mere minutes from your front door is Rathtrevor Provincial Park where you can hike through the 347-hectare park featuring two-kilometre long stretch of sandy beach, a stand of majestic old-growth Douglas fir trees, beautiful ocean sunsets and an inviting, wide sandy beach. At low tide the ocean recedes almost a kilometre and when the tide rolls in over the sunbaked sand, the warmed water is unbeatable for swimming and saltwater fun.

In the spring when large numbers of seabirds congregate for the annual herring spawn. During February, March, and April, Rathtrevor Beach is also one of the best spots on the Island to view the migrating Brant geese.

A true home away from home perfectly set up for a solo traveler or a couple wanting to escape and unwind, here you will find everything to make your stay as uninterrupted and as comfortable as possible.

8-hours prior to check in you will receive a keypad code via your booking channel messaging.

Parking is in front of the fence when you arrive, please keep the access to the garage clear.

Here you will find amazing sandy beaches, picture postcard views, world-class biking and hiking trails, salt-tinged ocean air, and the small-town charm.

Spend some time in Parksville and Qualicum Beach area and recharge your batteries. Escape the crush of deadlines, traffic jams and over crowded spaces, and step back in time a little.

Seeing goats on a roof, exploring underground caves, strolling endless beaches at low tide, and walking among ancient old growth forests are just some of the experiences you’ll be able to tell your friends about back home.

The cottage has a 40" smart TV with apple TV and many of the streaming apps. Just sign into your streaming accounts and connect to your favorite shows where you left off.

- No smoking or vaping in the home or on the property.
- This property is on a septic system, so please do not flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet.
- All trash and recyclables are to be removed from the patio to avoid an additional $50 cleaning fee.
- No parties, events, or loud music on the patios or on the property.
- Noise bylaws are in effect between 11pm to 7am, please respect the neighbours.
- This is a no pet property.
- This property has a shared yard and the trampoline, hot tub and outdoor fire pit are not included.

No live shellfish is allowed inside the cottage. If you go shellfishing, do not leave remnants of shells or shellfish on the property. Please return the shells to the beach or take them with you. Seafood and shellfish harvesting has resulted in excess cleaning and allergy issues for our cleaners and incoming guests that are not able to be resolved without extensive cleaning time and extra costs for disposal.
