Room was very clean, if run down. View from window was over the golf course, so very quiet at night, and we could open a window. Plenty of very hot water for the shower.
Minuses, we were really disappointed with the reception staff who we considered bordering on rude. We were not told about having to request a room makeup when we checked in, and when I complained I was just told to read the welcome letter, which when we did look at the paper holding our room key cards, there was no mention of having to request it. We were ignored many times, especially when we checked out. Just basic courteous behaviour we experience in other hotels. In the bar we felt an inconvenience, as staff member was talking to other residents when we walked in.
Beautiful building lacking soul from the staff.
