We were super happy and impressed with the Par-Tee house! The house was very accommodating and suited our group of 11 perfectly. There were so many nooks and crannies that the kids liked exploring and it was a short trip to the beach. Cons - The pool entrance gates were either very hard to open or one gate the latch was almost off. We fixed this for safety purposes. We had trouble with the toilets flushing some. The realty company called and advised the owners had called a septic company was coming to pump the septic tank out and needed access to the driveway. They couldn’t give an exact time, but we were able to make room for the truck and otherwise saw no signs of the company. And finally we had some trouble cleaning pans. All cons were extremely minor in consideration, but I leave very honest reviews. We would absolutely rent this house again!

This house suited all our needs. The right amount of space. Comfortable, the beds are great. Everything works as expected. Highly recommend!

Probably would not return to this property.

I think we counted about 20 burned out bulbs between the inside and outside of the property. That pretty much set the tone for me that the place was not being maintained. I would not return and probably not recommend it unless you are really not picky! All VRBO did was add their fees and taxes. And a "Property Manager"? What property manager? Don't think we had any human interaction during the entire transaction, which doesn't say much for Resort Realty either!

I had a problem - the group before us shattered a bedroom door. We could not use that room.

The back lawn had much litter under the balcony when we went down to play bocce. I did like the property except I felt it was so unfair to my group that we could not use a bedroom that we paid for - we rented it based on how many bedrooms we needed. Also, no internet because they needed a new modem. We had to call - we had to meet the workman. We came to be on vacation and with children, media is something my family enjoys. Only part of the toaster worked. We also rented it a big part due to ping-pong which we were able to play but the table is in bad shape - it needs to be replaced. If they would compensate me for our inconvenience, I would possibly rent the property again.

June Family Vacation

We were so excited for our extended family vacation. The location was great - slight water views of ocean and not a bad walk with 5 kids to the beach. Plenty of space in the house. However we did have a multitude of issues. On arrival the house was not locked and lacked greatly in cleaning especially considering the state of COVID and the “increased” cleaning advertised. Tables had not been wiped. Counters not wiped. Floors were filthy and unswept. Layers of dust adhered to fan and all lights so didn’t even turn on fans. Barely any toilet paper. Absolutely no hand soap. No kitchen towels to wash things. One dish washer was leaking while there. Many light bulbs burnt out and even on side table lamp the socket part broke and exposed wires present. On two occasions maintenance people came unannounced. Management did respond to emails about issues but no compensation was made. Thankfully when maintenance people came we were there or I suspect would have just walked in. Hot tub was broke and wouldn’t adjust temp at all and it was not usable due to high temp. We have rented from many VRBO properties and in various locations. This was listed as a premier home but unfortunately was greatly lacking. With other rentals we have used with VRBO we have also had leisure of dealing directly with owner and have never had to use a middle man resort type company for management of a property. We did really enjoy OBX but will not return to this home or any home managed by the Resort Realty company.

It was perfect for our family of 14!

We did write on the card when we dropped off the key that the refrigerator door needs to be fixed. A couple times our things fell out because the guards are not strong enough to hold much. We also suggested a bigger refrigerator for that size house. 2 big refrigerator's would be great. Other then having the neighbor dog wake us up before 6:30 am it was a great house. We had a wonderful time with our kids and grand kids.
