Contact us for more details! New Improvements for May 2024--Elevator access to all levels of home! Private pool open for 2024 season thru December 1, 2025 (weather permitting). Brand new home for the 2020 season in the Ocean Lakes Section of Ocean Sands. Less than two minute walk to the beach access. Private pool with option to heat it in the spring and fall for an additional fee. Heated pool, hot tub, tiki bar with outdoor television, spacious living areas for the entire family. Also included; enjoy the Ocean Lakes Pool and Tennis club; a short three minute walk. Upscale furnishings, no detail is overlooked in this home. Ground floor features a rec room, foosball table, full bath and adjacent built in bunk beds (two twins over two fulls), full laundry room, mini fridge with freezer, great for pool drinks! Second floor features a king master suite with private bath and private balcony, a queen suite with private bath and private balcony, two twins with access to back deck, queen with access to bath deck and a full bath. Third floor features kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances including additional refrigerated storage in below counter beverage center. Everything you need to cook a feast for your family beach vacation! Living room with access to street side deck and pool side deck, powder room, king master suite with full bath and access to private deck. Additional powder room at split level and cozy ships watch room for reading or surfing the internet. All bedrooms have wall mounted flat screen smart televisions. The pool itself is 12'x25', depth is 3’6” to 5’6”. It has a concrete deck around it and then a beautiful area with artificial turf for lounge chairs etc. Pool heat is available in the spring and fall for an additional fee of $50/night. This home also has an outdoor covered tiki bar area with bar height outdoor chairs, propane grill and a television behind the bar. The entire area is fenced and private to this home. This home is adjacent to three other homes that can be rented together for a total of 23 bedrooms for families vacationing together. Off street parking for approximately four vehicles is provided at the home.
We provide sheet and towel service EXCLUDING beach towels. (all sheets, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and kitchen towels—beds will be made with sheets upon your arrival and towel sets in the bedrooms).

Premises is restricted to use by Family Groups Only. A family group is defined as parents, grandparents, children and extended family members vacationing in one home. A non-family group is defined as gathering for an event,
unmarried young adults, high school students, college students or any non-family group. EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED: Chaperoned or un-chaperoned non-family groups, fraternities, school or civic groups. ABSOLUTELY NO HOUSE PARTIES ALLOWED.

The house was spacious, spotless, and just as beautiful as the pictures. It felt very comfortable and well cared for. Rebecca was a great host—she responded quickly and was very reassuring when I had concerns about the hurricane. I’d definitely stay here again!

This house was absolutely perfect. I've been coming to the Outer Banks every summer for almost 30 years and I can safely say this was the best stay I've had yet. Everything was clean and clearly updated recently because it had a very modern look to it. Having the grill and the outside bar was amazing. I used to scoff at the idea of an elevator but man bringing in the groceries and luggage was a delight. The owners were super responsive to every question I had and frequently checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay during our vacation. We will be booking this again for next year's family vacation. I think we found our home away from home

The property itself was one of the best rentals we’ve had in past years. Very clean and well-maintained. The only downfall was the listing in pictures lead you to believe there may be a little more room between housing. Because the housing is so close. some rentals are often louder or rowdier than others. Thank goodness there was only one and it was tolerable. We do realize that’s not the fault of the property owners that we rented from.

Beautiful home, great location, layout of home was perfect for the three different families who stayed together.. each family had their own floor. Elevator was difficult to use, but would definitely stay there again!! Management staff very accommodating!

When there were minor issues, property managers were very responsive! Excellent responsiveness! Property is great! Thank you!! We did not like how busy the beach was, and the people who put out the rental chairs and umbrellas always took the prime locations so we had to hike our stuff a bit further up the beach which was not ideal.

Fantastic week in Corolla!

We had 12 in our group, 6 adults and 6 kids, ages 5-15. The house had plenty of space for our group and in addition to being very clean, it is updated and the location is great! The beach is less than a 5 minute walk and it’s close to stores and restaurants too. Communication with the owner was easy, they reached out to us a couple of times during the week via text just to check how things were going and any questions we had were responded to promptly. Overall we had a wonderful week in Corolla and enjoyed our stay at Salt Shaker!

Great for big families

Awesome Property!

Had a wonderful week with my extended family at this property. House is exactly as described and was very clean. Although we didn't have any problems, Mgmt company did a great job "checking in" every couple of days via text to see if there was anything we needed. A very short walk to a beautiful beach, however, we used the pool quiet extensively. Close to everything. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Corolla.

A luxury home by the beach

The property was everything we expected and more! It was clean, comfortable and had a great location. There was plenty of space for our group of 13. We were near the beach--I am disabled but we were still comfortably close. We loved the pool and hot tub--it was great when the little kids still wanted to swim and we needed to prepare dinner. When we return to the Outer Banks, we will definitely consider this property!

Everything was exactly how it was listed. Plenty of room for our 6 kids, spouses and 3 grands! Rebecca was quick to contact me when our laundry was stuck in the washer(our fault). There was plenty of dishes, pans, storage containers and utensils. Only complaint was the second floor was uncomfortable with the air. Kids were struggling to sleep with the warmth. I'm sure this is an easy fix. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend to others to stay here! Thank you Rebecca!

We had an awesome stay. The house was a nice size, quiet between floors, has an awesome pool and a short walk to the beach. It was also a nice location between Duck and the main part of Corolla. The property manager was very responsive and welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay during our spring break! The house was absolutely perfect! Super clean! It had everything we needed. We ate mostly at home and it was equipped with everything that u would need. The heated pool was great in of itself! The kids loved it! Short couple minute walk to the beach which was very nice. Property manager was super responsive to any questions that we had. We would love to come back!

Great Space and very updated

Nice to have a place with so much space that feels homey still. Well maintained and the pool and hot tub were great. Had all the pans and dishes needed but make sure to bring any spices you need.
