Silly geese property
We were very disappointed with our stay. The photos did not accurately depict the condition of the home. The home is not maintained, the furnishings are all old and outdated and not kept up with. We had a leak in the kitchen sink that leaked into the bedroom on the mid level which appeared to have been covered up/hidden by either the previous guest or the management co. Someone put a bowl under the pipe under the kitchen sink and then packed the kitchen sink cabinet with cleaning products so you couldn’t tell there was a leak until you emptied out the cabinet or woke up with a leak in the bedroom underneath the kitchen which is what happened to us.
The wood is chipping off of the furniture in the bedrooms, the paint is coming off all of the bedroom doors, which could be fixed/painted over within minutes.
The house was FILTHY. The carpets had dust bunnies when we arrived and the wood floor on the top level was covered with dust. We spent the greater portion of our arrival cleaning.
The downstairs bathroom was filled with bugs including the shower. The downstairs bedroom with the king bed was disgusting. The fan was black from dust, we had to clean it ourselves.
The children’s bedroom is on the bottom floor of the home which makes no sense seeing as it is right next to the door to the pool and the master bedrooms are on different levels of the house and the door from the driveway is right outside the kids bedroom. Layout was very poorly thought out.
Not pleased.
