We had a wonderful 2-day stay at the Pines and 2 great golf games. The staff, without exception, were wonderful - very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices and was very good. Importantly, the hot items were hot! Churchill’s restaurant had an extensive menu and everything that we tried was very good with good-size portions. The golf course had a few rough spots but overall was in very good condition and provided a fun but challenging experience. The lobster rolls at the clubhouse were great and full of lobster chunks. We had a great stay and would highly recommend the Pines - we will be back.

It was just ok. We booked a last minute staycation and chose the pines for the amenities, price and reviews. Check in and as smooth and friendly a tiny bit of a wait nothing major. We had a king basin view suite. The view was ok some trees were blocking the bay. The room was dated it had 2 bathrooms with one bathroom sink that had a out of order sign on it. Lots of wear and tear in the room and definitely showing it's age. I'm glad we had a last minute price vs the $349 price tag it would of been . Breakfast was included with our room.It was a hot buffet with a omelette station, noone was tending the station when we were there and things weren't very fresh or tasty. We also had a mix-up when we went to get our food they sat someone else at our table and took a few minutes to find us a new Table as we held our plates. We booked a massage and facial at the spa the next morning before we left. The girls performing our services were great but the overall vibe was very disorganized and certainly not relaxing. I do appreciate & understand that the hotel is very old and historic but I feel it's run down and better care could be taken of areas. The elevator wasn't working either which didn't bother us but I can see for some this would be a huge challenge. It certainly wasn't a very accessible place which seemed odd because alot of the clientele appeared to be a bit older.Most staff we encountered were friendly.

This ionic hotel has a lot of historical significance, in a wonderful location with beautiful bay view. The room is very quiet and easy to access, with lot of parking spaces. The breakfast has all the varieties. The elevator is out of order, but the 3rd floor is not high. Of all, we were truly enjoy the stay.

Gorgeous view of the area and staff is very hospitable. The food was amazing and the property had lots to do for everyone. The scenery was beautiful. Cottage is in need of some repairs and updates. Dated decor and some malfunctioning lights and things. Accessibility is an issue as there were stairs to everything and the elevator was down in the main building. Would stay again but things need some attention.

I loved this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. It is an older hotel but obviously well cared for; the pool was beautiful and the breakfast was wonderful. Our family stayed in a cabin which was comfortable and reasonably priced.
