The older gentlemen at reception was so nice and polite, very professional and helpful. The room was renovated, carpets new, doors new, bathroom fine, mattress very comfortable. The only criticism is that the duvet cover did not smell nice. It smelt like dog was sleeping there or dirty socks. I think it was to do with the way the linen was dried and stored but not sure. We reported to reception next day.

Great for a stay near St Ives.

Lovely location, friendly staff. Comfortable beds and bedding, large rooms, clean. Good value for money. Good breakfast. Burger good, duck ok could have had rice with it.

One night in St Ives

Lovely setting in nice hotel, with commanding views. Hotel a little tired, in my own opinion, room was like a sauna, thankfully we had a fan,to cool down room. In all though, a very enjoyable stay.

The room & bathroom was very dated and somewhat tired but very clean. The TV was tiny for the size of the room and the radiator a bit small. The staff were generally very helpful and the food in the restaurant very good, apart from the breakfast which was poor in quality.
