The apartment itself matches the description and photos: clean, well-equipped, and the supermarket around the corner was great. No complaints about the accommodation itself.The problem is the location information. The listing says the beach is "just 1 km" away and invites you to explore the "coastal town of Sidari," giving the impression you're close to the center. In reality it's a 15-20 minute walk to the beach, not the few minutes the text suggests. Distances to the center and other amenities are also greater than the description implies.More importantly: the map pin on this listing points to the wrong location, somewhere in the center of Sidari. The actual property is quite a bit further away. This isn't a matter of "reading the text more carefully" — the map itself is wrong. People living/working at the pinned location told us guests regularly show up at their door looking for this rental.After we arrived, the owner confirmed the location listing is incorrect. VRBO agreed as well and indicated compensation was warranted. The owner, however, refused to compensate, arguing that guests should figure out the text themselves — even though the issue isn't the text, it's the map, which both the owner and VRBO acknowledge.Bottom line: nice apartment, but don't count on the beach and center being as close as the listing promises, and be aware the map location is wrong.
