The Greystone House is an excellent house for privacy, sea views and modern comforts. It was very clean on arrival and we loved that the housekeeper came again midstay. I would highly recommend for anyone staying in Corfu!

Greystone is difficult for me to review because, until the final part of our stay, we had a lovely week. It should be noted that the property is up a reasonably steep and tight hill. I would NOT recommend attempting it for the first time in the dark. The property itself is well appointed and would have been idyllic but, unfortunately, an unexplained incident towards the end of our stay left me feeling very uneasy. On our penultimate evening we returned to find both bedroom windows open, along with the kitchen window, lights on and A/C running. We had switched the lights and A/C off that morning. We had never opened my son's bedroom window during our stay and I specifically remembered closing mine. This was particularly concerning because with my bedroom window wide open, the apartment was accessible from the balcony. My immediate thought was that we had been burgled and I had to check our passports, jewellery and belongings. I contacted the host. The next morning I was told the housekeeper had not visited and guests would be notified before staff entered. The host then checked the exterior cameras and said nobody had entered. This unfortunately left what we found completely unexplained. I struggled to sleep and my son slept with a light on. It destroyed our sense of security and trust at the property. A real shame, because without this incident, or at least some explanation, my review would have been very different.
