I really enjoyed my stay, my room was clean, comfortable and felt like luxury away from home. Especially in comparison to other staying at alternative hotels that didn’t have air conditioning or an iron, I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Tivoli Hotel in Copenhagen and found it to be a generally safe and quiet place to stay, which we appreciated. However, the rooms were very small. Barely enough space to open a suitcase, and there was minimal storage, which made things feel cramped. The staff was okay, not overly friendly but not rude either. It did the job for a short stay, but I’d probably look for something more spacious next time.

Lovely hotel

Fantastic hotel, the pool was a bit busy with kids playing but nothing outrageous, the sauna was nice. Lovely sticks and sushi restaurant on the top floor. Room was great, only small complaint was that there was a sign about re-using the towels which I wanted to do to be a bit more environmentally friendly, but they took the towels away anyway. No big deal though

Perfect hotel for those with children! They had a summer event while we were there so there was bouncy castle, table tennis, colouring in, little trikes and many more activities in the main hall! Also they had daily treasure hunt (with prizes) which my daughter did every day while we were there! The room was big, clean and had good views! The facilities were excellent such as the pool, gym, playroom for kids and onsite restaurants! The buffet breakfast was great! Lots of choices and a section at kids height, and there was a special VIP who came throughout the breakfast hours, who the kids loved! The hotel is a bit far from town center (15-20mins walk), but there were plenty of options if you didn’t want to walk. We would definitely come back to stay, if we ever come back to Copenhagen!

Hotel needs to careful about cleanliness.

Our stay this time was far from amazing. We stayed for 4 nights and inspite of reminders our room was not serviced and cleaned even once. They just replaced our towels once late evening as we had put them on the floor expecting room cleaning. Even next day no services. Our room was at the end of the corridor far from the elevator though we had booked reasonably in advance. Felt pretty let down.

This was my second visit. Upon checking in the person was unaware of the 20% off breakfast. No upgrade was offered even when asked. My original room had a sock in the toilet and the toilet was dirty in both rooms. The staff did nothing but switch to an identical room.

We would have liked a few more take out/take to room or quick easy dine food options. Nothing was really available and the couple restaurants were not really kid/fast/easy foods.. ie hamburger, chicken strips, panini….

The hotel is conveniently located, about a 10/15 minute walk from Tivoli gardens and the heart of the city. The staff is very friendly and happy to provide recommendations. We had a nice view over the canal. We had a junior suite, which was very roomy and clean. The only minor thing is that when they cleaned our room, they did not restock the coffee; a call to housekeeping fixed that. I would stay there again.

Silver wedding anniversary

Apparently we were upgraded. So instead of a double bed that I booked we were given a twin room with beds pushed together. The room was small even though we were told it was bigger than the room booked. This I didn’t believe but as it included access to the 12th floor lounge we decided not to query it and go with the flow instead. A bottle of Cava was given to us on arrival too which was nice as it was our 25th wedding anniversary during our stay.
