Nice Hotel but only with an upgraded room.

Base rooms are shoebox size. Dinner, wine is way expensive. Grounds are nice. Above average breakfast buffet . I liked the location better than if in Como.

Great Lake View

Pros: The room size was great. The restaurant was nice for breakfast and most of dinner.
Cons: The common areas are not air conditioned. Parking is available but problematic as discussed.
Location: Great location. Convenient to a ferry stop and close to downtown Como.
The hotel is very nice. We had a junior suite with two large rooms and large deck overlooking the lake. However, the deck was not well furnished (two small upright chairs and a small table) despite being on a corner with approximately 40 feet by 5 feet of deck. More comfortable chairs and perhaps chaise lounges would be an improvement. The hotel has parking, but unless you are driving a very small car you will find it a challenge to use. After parking (backing in), I had perhaps three inches on each side of the car (the parking area has concrete poles on each side of each stall.) This is OK if no car is next to you, but if there is a car, then getting out is a real problem. I had to have the porter crawl in through the back, over the back seat and into the driver's seat in order to get the car out.
