There was a hand written paper taped to the front door of office. With a number listed to call for maintenance or check in. A little unusual check in, compared to other hotels or motels.

Check in was very strange. When I arrived at the lodge, there was no one there. There was a very faded note on the door with a number to call. In between his heavy accent and the road noise (since I was standing outside) he was difficult to understand. When he found out where I was and my name he told me my room number and said the key was under the mat. The room was nothing fancy but it was adequate. It was quiet even though there were quite a few people there Saturday night. The price was lower than several other places.

I really like the way he? has set himself up to. kind of run it like an Airbnb for the check in. Very convenient. and fast. Although he needs to. send emails out or text. to people. that have a reservation. with his phone number on it. And a small explanation of how to check in. Other than that, it was great. Place was very clean. and well kept up.

Meh

Room was clean but old. Sheets smelled of bleach. No handicapped accessible rooms, and the toilet in the bathroom was so low to the ground i needed my husband's help to get up (2 knee replacements). Not a terrible stay, but i wouldnt preferentially stay here again.

The room was clean as a whistle! Very dated decor , like grannies spare room . No attendant on duty . Just far enough south of Nashville to be somewhat inconvient. Too far to walk and the road (SR 46) is too busy to bicycle . I’d stay in Nashville next time . Great water pressure and plenty of hot water.

No one at the office when we arrived. Had to call a number to find out where our key was. Had to recall the number because we were told the wrong place. Door was VERY hard to open. We paid for it and ended up not staying there. When we got there the registration desk was closed and a phone number to call. We did and he came ito check us in and gave us the key. I had to stop him from leaving to open the room door because the key didn’t work. When we walked in the room although it was clean it had a musty smell that was overwhelming. It triggered an allergic reaction and we had to leave. The attendant was no longer there so we had to find another hotel in town to spend the night. It was not even cheap. Definitely do not recommend!

Out dated but very clean for the money!!!

Easy check-in, not much service required or present, but all in all this was a very nice older place to stay for the evening, we had a very nice stay! I would recommend this to anyone needing a quick cost effective stay, very pleased!

Clean room, close to town.

When we arrived the fellow at the desk was preparing to leave for the day but checked us in right away. The lodge is older, but has been cared for pretty well. Our toilet had issues with solids, and the ice machine was locked in the office, so we couldn't get any ice. Other than that, what you see is what you get. Clean room and bathroom. Nice staff at check in. Close to town and reasonably priced. Maybe let folks know to get any ice they need before office is locked? Would stay there again.

I have complaints about the room it self or the staff. What little interaction I had with them they seemed friendly enough. The only complaint that I have is that there no vending machines and the ice machine was in the office that stayed locked and you had call the number on the door to get someone to open it and if you were lucky they were on site. Other than that we had nice quiet weekend. Also don't expect delivery. Every place we tried to order from said we were out of ranch but, that not the hotels fault.
