Good stay in good hotel with quirks.
Stayed in an executive suite but had to request a microwave/fridge after realizing they were not in the room. Was not expecting to pay 10/day for parking. Also not expecting to have a 30 dollar charge for a pre-arranged late check out. Booked the nicest room on the app but the hotel site itself had larger room layouts & descriptions but cost the same. Felt a little weirded out. Room was clean and comfy. Bed very comfy and warm. Usually my gf steals my blankets but they were large enough to cover us both without a midnight blanket heist. Staff was friendly, especially Theresa. There was a lot to do/see/eat right around the capitol as well even on Sunday.

It’s very outdated, we only stayed for one night & the sink is not working but they were able to fix it, we brought our pets so we have rooms that allow pets but it sure smells like pee. Also the sheets look like it has not been changed as there were definitely stains on it with human hair, the toilet paper has band aid wrapping stuck in it.

Property advertised it had breakfast available which was one reason we chose this property. However the week of Thanksgiving it was not available which was a bit inconvenient with a large family with small children. Some amenities were missing also. A microwave and refrigerator would have been helpful for a weeks stay

The hotel staff was nice. The hotel wasn’t dirty just dingy, from the rust on the water display to the old thin towels. Needs updating. Our room smelled like mildew in some areas and pretty sure the fridge was leaking bc there was a wet spot right by it.

This is a good place to stay for one, maybe two, nights. It’s older and doesn’t have amenities like a refrigerator or in our room a shower curtain. It’s right by the highway and the State Capitol so it’s in a good location.

Horrible stay
This place was awful. First off, they switched the room we booked with a smaller room with a double bed when we had originally booked a king executive suite. At check in, they had no explanation other than they gave our room to guests who checked in earlier, and that they were sold out for the night. When we got up to the room, it was dirty, with the bed sheets balled up on the bed, and had obviously not been cleaned after the previous guest. When we went back down to the desk and waited in another long line, she was able to “swap” our room for a regular king room which she let us know was someone else’s room who hadn’t checked in yet. I asked if we would be refunded or prorated the cost of the more expensive room that we had booked, and she said I would have to contact the manager as she had no authority to change the charge. The manager of course was not on duty on the day of check out so I will be trying to get into contact with them but it’s clear that this hotel and its management is deplorable. I would never stay here again and would recommend against anyone booking a room here as clearly booking a room does not actually guarantee that you will get one or that it will be what you booked.
