The farmhouse has been recently renovated while maintaining the typical characteristics of the past. The barn has a beautiful private garden of 500 square meters with a table for eating out and deck chairs for relaxing.Giovanni the owner lives not far away and is at your disposal for any of your needs. The location can be reached along the SR 68 that connects Colle Val D 'Elsa to Volterra, at km 48 be careful because you have to turn left as indicated by the signs towards Montegabbro. We recommend using a browser. Air conditioning in the living room and in the bedrooms.

Petit coin de rĂȘve en Toscane
Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la maison de Giovanni, à Montegabbro. La maison est grande, confortable, trÚs bien équipée et bien située pour visiter la région. Elle est située dans un petit hameau typique de la Toscane, au milieu des champs et des oliviers, ce qui contribue à son charme. La terrasse devant la maison permet de se détendre en tout confort à l'extérieur de la maison et de profiter du milieu ambiant. à cela s'ajoute la disponibilité et la gentillesse de nos hÎtes, Giovanni et Manuela, ainsi que leurs délicates attentions. Nous retournerions chez Giovanni avec beaucoup de plaisir et nous recommandons chaudement cet hébergement.

Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage
Unser Urlaub in Montegabbro, idyllisch zwischen Volterra und San Gimignano gelegen, war sehr schön und erholsam. Das Ferienhaus von Giovanni liegt sehr ruhig und hat alles, was man braucht. Besonders hervorzuheben waren die KlimagerĂ€te, die wir bei teilweise 37 Grad im Schatten sehr gut nutzen konnten, um die SchlafrĂ€ume kĂŒhl zu halten. Giovanni und Manuela sind tolle Gastgeber, die uns an manchem Tag mit einer Kleinigkeit aus ihrem Garten ĂŒberraschten.
Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich zu empfehlen, wenngleich der angegebene Whirlpool leider nicht mehr existierte.

Awesome location for a calm vacancy close to tuscanny's major sights.
The accomodation at Montegabbro allowed us a vacancy both within a calm, natural environment at the end of a small road and nearness to major sights in Tuscanny, such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Firenze etc.. The perfectly equipped house features everything we needed, from airconditioned (cooling/warming) living- & bedrooms unto WiFi, Flat-TV (italian progs) etc.etc.. The owners were near and supported in any question.
Some hints: For going to FIRENZE we recommend the bus from Colle Val d'Elsa. WINTERTIRES officially required unto mid/end April. SUPERMARKETS in Colle V.d.E & Poggibonsi.
Don't miss old town of Colle V.d.E. ('alto'), Certaldo ('alto') with Funiculare, Monteriggioni, Abbazia d'Isola, Abbazia di Sant'Antimo SW of Montalcino.
Special tip: Volcanism (Fumaroles, Solfatars etc.) 75 minutes/65km south at Monterotondo at 'Geothermal Natural Park Biancane'!

Schönes Haus fĂr individuelles Reisen mit Freunden und Familie
Wunderschönes altes Bauernhaus mit Garten. Die Zimmeraufteilung ist perfekt und die KĂŒche ist tiptop ausgestattet. Wohnbereich mit WC / KĂŒche und Terrasse im Erdgeschoss, im oberen Stock befinden sich die privaten RĂ€ume und das Bad. Im Wohnbereich kann man leger auf der Couch oder der leicht erhöhten Ebene am Fenster flezen und Abends den Zikaden lauschen.
Das kleine Dörfchen Montegabbro ist mitten zwischen Olivenhainen auf einer kleinen Anhöhe gelegen und es gibt dort noch 2-3 weitere HÀuser die ebenfalls direkt von den Besitzern vermietet werden. Angenehme private AtmosphÀre.
Die Besitzer Giovanni und Manuela waren sehr zuvorkommend und herzlich zu uns.
Der Ort ist etwas abgeschieden und man braucht ein Auto, dafĂŒr hat man seine Ruhe und mit dem Auto kann man schnell etwas aus dem Nachbarort besorgen und alle Ziele in der Toskana gut erreichen.
Die Kinder konnten sich hier frei fĂŒhlen und fĂŒr uns war das ein guter Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr die schönsten TagesausflĂŒge nach Volterra, Siena, San Gimignano und auch das nah gelegene Colle di Val dâElsa. Wenn wir wieder einmal die Toskana bereisen dann ist dies wieder unsere erste Wahl!
