Villa Eleonora was just perfect, we were a large group of friends with children aged from 6-16, the villa had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday, from the lovely outside pool with terrace, to the indoor pool which was not used that much due to the glorious weather. I met with Stefano at 4pm at the villa for check in, he was extremely polite and showed us around the vast villa. During our stay one of the guests unfortunately had his wallet stolen on a day trip to Perugia, Stefano and Sophia were fantastic in helping us with the local police (wallet found and returned by police). We had our lunches and dinner in the villa, making good use of the big BBQ that is there.We all enjoyed the pool area, especially the children, along with the games rooms which had a pool table, table football and ping pong. We felt very secure within the villa which had electric gates, so the children could wander around the gardens without the parents being worried.The large terrace upstairs was great, easy to bring food from the kitchen and large enough for all of us to sit and eat.The kitchen area was good, albeit a little small and a shortage of power points but we managed fine. It took a while to work out all the different settings on the oven so maybe instructions could be left for guests.We went shopping most days with large supermarkets only a 15-20 minute drive away, which offer fresh produce, meats,and alcohol.All in all i would highly recommend Villa Eleonora for a visit.

We had 13 people ages 4-83 stay for a week. The pools (one indoor and one outdoor) were wonderful and the views from the outdoor pool and terrace above spectacular. The house is looking its age in some ways, but is very comfortable, functional and spacious. The kitchen and outdoor grill worked great for cooking large meals. We had some problems with the air conditioning, but the owners dispatched help almost immediately. The location requires a drive to go anywhere, and cute Italian towns with inviting piazzas are not in the immediate vicinity, but a bit of a drive gets you to many lovely places. We had a great time!

It is hard to put into words how great this family vacation was. The Villa Eleonora is better than the description used here on VRBO. We had 11 people, my wife and I and three children and their spouses, along with 4 grand children. The location was ideal in itself with beautiful open country in the foothills of Umbria. Day trips by train to Florence, Rome, and overnight to Venice were easily accessed from the train station in Peruvian, less than 30 minutes from the Villa.The Villa owner Stefano, his wife and family, were wonderful accommodating people who provided a tremendous resource for info and assistance to all of us. In fact, I found Stefano to be a treasured friend during our two week stay.My wife and I, at 85, have traveled the world for 40 years and I can honestly say this was at the top of our experiences.I am certain that anyone who goes to the Villa will say the same!

Umbria

Villa Eleanora is in quite a lovely location convenient to many sites in Umbria. The facilities were very well taken care of and clean. The outdoor terrace and pool areas were really lovely. The inside could use a little updating especially the kitchen area. Also more lighting would help. All in all quite a nice experience.

Great location-villa needs upgrading

The location, close to the major autostradas and Umbrian towns, was great! The outdoor space and grounds with the pool were beautiful. We enjoyed many evenings on the well-furnished main level patio overlooking the beautiful scenic views. The villa, while expansive with great space, is in desperate need of repair/upgrading. Many of the furniture pieces are worn. In one bedroom, 4 of the drawers on the nightstands and dressers had only one or no handles. The bathrooms in particular are outdated, had mold and rust around the showers stalls and were small and tight for all who stayed with us during our 18-day booking (and we are all average size). The sliding door to the pool was inoperable. The beds had plastic/rubber mattress covers which were not comfortable to sleep on. You can have cotton/plastic protectors. The kitchen had a new fridge and stove which were great. The pots and pans however were old making it a challenge to cook. The smaller appliances-toaster, microwave, coffeemaker etc. are either outdated or too small for a home designed for 10-14 guests. A number of the utensils are broken, barely usable or just absent. There were no flippers for eggs, the knives were dull. Lighting around the patio had only 60% of bulbs lit. The house manager and cleaners were excellent. A manual for the house amenities would be helpful. This property/villa deserves the upgrade as the space and grounds are wonderful, and location perfect! The daily was high considering the issues.

The property was stunning, pictures did not do it justice. Exceeded expectations. All the rooms were comfortable and made for an amazing Italian getaway. Host recommended us a chef that came and put on a great couple of meals. Would recommend.

A wonderful week in Villa Eleonora

The villa is in a perfect location with easy access to local villages and connection to the highways making getting around so easy. The views from the upper level were simply stunning. Evenings spent up there were our favourite time of our stay enjoying the views, food and company. The lighting created a lovely ambience. The barbecue was used a lot and it's location to the kitchen window and the eating area made cooking on it a joy and got everyone involved. The pool area is well layed out with enough shade for the full sun. There is even a shady portion of the pool most of the day. The loungers are lovely and just enough for all of us who wanted one. The bedrooms are many and traditional in decor. Comfortable and clean enough. We spent a couple of mornings in the garden which is a nice area to enjoy a coffee but we ultimately ended up back on the upper outside area for those views. The dishwasher and washing machine were very helpful! Check in and out were easy and our hosts were avaliable any time if needed. Although everything was such that we didn't need to! An amazing week and we'll recommend to anyone that wants to enjoy this beautiful part of Italy as part of a large group.

Gruppenreise mit 21 Personen

Wir waren mit 5 Familien in dem Haus, insgesamt 21 Personen. Jede Familie hatte ihr eigenes Bad, die Schlafräume sind alle klimatisiert. Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage mit einem fantastischen Blick. Alles war sehr sauber, Probleme mit Toiletten oder der Klimaanlage wurden noch am selben Tag behoben. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Tolles Anwesen für Urlaub mit großer Reisegruppe

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Sommerurlaub mit 9 Erwachsenen und 13 Kindern/Jugendlichen in Guidos Ferienhaus „Eleonore“. Wir haben den Aufenthalt am großzügigen und sauberen Pool genossen, gemeinsam gekocht und draußen auf der Terrasse gesessen. Billard und Tischtennis wurden gerne genutzt und die Schlafzimmer waren alle individuell und gemütlich. Am ersten Tag gab es Probleme mit einem Bett, sowie einem kaputten Toilettendeckel. Guido hat blitzschnell und diskret einen Austausch veranlasst. Perfekter Service. Abends waren wir beim Dorffest das zufällig zu dem Zeitpunkt stattfand. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und hatten ein tolles Essen - ein schöner Einstand. Vielen Dank auch an das nette Reinigungsteam und Martina für deren tolle Arbeit. Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland! Spectacular vistas, spacious , perfect for large families

We needed lots of bedrooms, lots of bathrooms, and options for relaxation or activity. This property checked all boxes. Management was professional and gracious. Guido recommended, at our request, a chef for meal delivery and for a cooking class. Edoardo and his team, Josette and Fabrizio, made an otherwise fabulous stay even better. The photos of the property, particularly vistas, patios, and pools do not do it justice. Truly a magnificent property!

Breathtaking views and responsive/high quality service

The villa comfortably accommodated a large family of 20 people. The amenities and grounds were well maintained and kept people of all ages entertained for the week, I particularly appreciated the attention to detail with the landscaping and gardening. Amazing Umbria

Our family week at Villa Eleonora was amazing. The house was generously sized with a great kitchen. The views from the property were breathtaking. The rustic sounds were easy to wake to and the sunsets were spectacular. It was easy to access the highway and travel to cities in the region. It was the perfect place for us!

Fabulous family holiday !

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Waited 2 years for a family holiday with 22 of us aged from 6 months to 60 years ( yes an extra one arrived during COVID! ) Absolutely wonderful villa, plenty of space to suit all of our needs. Pool was amazing! Highly recommend booking the catered meal, felt like being in a 5* restaurant , with all the children in bed! Thank you all so much !!

Fabulous

We were 15 in the house for a week, adults and children, and it was wonderful. The view from the terrace and pool is spectacular, the facilities great and the location also brilliant - we had a mix of vespas, e-bikes and cars and there was much to explore, including Perugia and Todi, the local vineyard, the restaurant across the valley (and they do takeaway!) -- and Marco came to cook one night and made enough food for two days. Also a supermarket and excellent gelateria five minutes drive away. Highly recommended!

Fantastisk fint alternativ för stora sällskap

Vi var ett gäng släktingar mellan 6 månader och 80 år, sammanlagt 30 personer som bodde där. Allt fungerade till belåtenhet utom wifi och duschvatten Dr det var svagt tryck i kranarna och varmvattnet tog fort slut. Allt i övrigt var välfungerande och mycket uppskattat i alla åldersgrupper.

Vi var en familj i tre generationer på totalt 22 st i åldrarna 17 -81. Många intresserade av fysisiska aktiviteter. Svårt att tänka sig ett bättre hus eftersom det fanns stor utepool, innepool, gym, bordtennis och två biljardbord! Allt i gott skick. Och vilken utsikt över det vackra landskapet. 3,5 km till vingård med vinprovning och 2 km till restaurant som byggde på lokala produkter. Och gör gärna en utflykt till casacata della Marmore m fl platser.

Perfect in every way and super attractive place for a group of friends

Great location and a wonderful view from the huge terrace! Lots of amenities and very rich furnishing (lots of couches and armchairs to sit on, billiards, ping-pong table, gym, plenty of beach beds, sun loungers and beach towels). Always clean water in the pool. Very good kitchen equipment (except maybe small bowls for cereal with milk :)) Lots of towels, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, air conditioning, waste segregation and very good contact with the property managers. This was our second stay at this Villa and we will definitely come back again sometime!

Wundervolles Haus, wundervoller Aufenthalt, wundervolle Hochzeit

Wir waren im Juli mit unseren Kindern, Freunden und Familien in dieser Villa und haben im Rahmen unseres Aufenthalts auch dort geheiratet. Wir haben alle Räumlichkeiten genutzt, haben die Pools innen und außen genossen und fleißig Tischtennis und Billard gespielt. Auch der Außengrill bei der oberen Terasse haben wir gut verwendet, in der Küche wurde täglich gekocht. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, mit allem was man so braucht. Durch den Kühlschrank im unteren Bereich kann man auch ausweichen wenn der obere nicht reichen sollte. Der Kontakt mit Guido und Martina waren hervorragend, wir konnten alle Fragen vorab klären. Vor zwei Jahren durften wir die Villa auch bereits vorab besichtigen, damit wir sicher sein konnten das sie für unsere Hochzeit die richtige Location ist. Es waren genug Hand- und Badetücher und Bettwäsche vorhanden, die Villa und das Grundstück war sehr sauber und großzügig. Wir durften auch ein paar Stunden früher einchecken, was für uns einiges an der Tagesplanung erleichtert hat. Danke auch nochmals dafür. Für eine Hochzeit ist die Villa ebenfalls eine perfekte Location. Wir hatten die freie Trauung und die Tafel abends im Garten, Mittagessen im Poolraum und Torte anschneiden, Kaffee und Kuchen auf der oberen Terrasse. Wir und unsere Gäste waren begeistert. Wir hätten keine bessere Villa für unseren besonderen Anlass wählen können. Einzig anzumerken ist vielleicht, dass die Bilder von den Schlafgelegenheiten nicht ganz stimmen. Wir hatten damit gerechnet, dass eine Doppel-Schlaf-Couch im Wohnzimmer der Dependance ist, dafür ist die zusätzliche Schlaf-Couch im Twin-Room auf der oberen Etage nicht eingezeichnet. Für uns ist sich alles gut ausgegangen und Martina hätte uns auch angeboten eine Lösung zu finden, hätten wir die Schlafgelegenheit in der Depedance noch gebraucht. Also auch hier ein hervorragender Service. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir können jedem nur empfehlen dort hin zu fahren. Die Umgebung und Umbrien gesamt sind jedenfalls eine Reise wert.
