Garden Cottage is a beautiful place for a retreat and owed by a very warm and welcoming couple that have done everything to make the stay a very comfotable and happy one. Everything we could ask for and more, We could not have asked for more with our stay and we look forward to booking to stay there in the near future. Would definitely recommend this Cottage retreat to anyone that wants a lovely quiet get away.

Garden Cottage is an absolute gem. It is beautifully equipped with no expense spared. Marcus and Caroline are wonderful hosts; we felt immediately at home. A truly 5 star experience, coupled with its location amongst stunning scenery. We plan to return!

Garden Cottage is a beautifully decorated and fully equipped gem of a cottage. From the warm welcome we received from our hosts, Caroline and Marcus, the delicious loaf cake, (!) and lovely things to be discovered, tried, and enjoyed, in every room, it was perfect. Caroline's wish to ensure her guests have the most comfortable, peaceful, and rejuvenating time, is clear. A fabulous welcome pack crammed with information for us, and a separate folder written (!) by Charlie the Spaniel, to other pups, made exploring the local area, (and beyond), easy. With good access to the surrounding villages and towns, great walks, and good food and dog friendly pubs and cafes everywhere. Highly recommended, and absolutely 5*.

"What a little gem" The cottage facilities were outstanding and the courtyard garden and privacy are a bonus. The hosts were extremely helpful, and the extra touches, too numerous to mention were amazing.The local pub, minutes away, was welcoming and the food was lovely. Lots of interesting places to visit, however our stay was to catch up with family and friends.We would certainly return on our next visit to Lancashire.

I have now stayed in this lovely cottage twice. This being Autumn there is a blast of colours. Take a camera if you come in this season. The hosts are always on hand to make sure you are happy. There is lots to do and see even if the nights draw in. I rate it 6.

Our second stay here at Garden Cottage, and everything is still of a very high quality. The cottage is comfortable and well-furnished, with everything in it you could ever need for a lovely break away. The outside space is also private and welcoming for relaxing with a drink or two. Caroline and Marcus are wonderful hosts and we really appreciated the extras that they provided, both for us humans and our very happy cocker spaniel. Sabden itself is a friendly village with lots of beautiful places to walk around, and is very close to other villages and towns to provide more than ample options for visits and exploring Lancashire and Yorkshire.We would highly recommend this cottage as excellent value for money and providing a special, comfortable holiday.

Lovely stay

Thank you Caroline, Marcus,Charlie and Alvin for a Relaxing and lovely stay in your charming cottage. Our dog Jack was really relaxed and enjoyed his stay too. Very quiet location within easy reach of a nice local pub. We even took advantage of the current £2 bus fare into clitheroe for the day as the bus service was frequent and reliable. Great pubs in easy reach.. The two necked swan was a favourite. The Wellspring was very good and amazing views. The cottage kitchen was well equipped for when we ate at 'home'. Comfy bed and great shower too. Caroline's homemade cakes and warm welcome was awesome. Lovely walking locally to. Btw it's worth a walk to the milking Parlour for fresh milk straight from the farm.. worth the £1 30 a litre. Definitely a lovely stay. Thank you 😊

What a gorgeous, well equipped cottage with the most wonderful owners as neighbours. We were so lucky to have just spent Christmas at Garden Cottage and what a treat it was! From the decorations to the cakes and the Christmas Day treats it certainly ensured we were fully immersed and in the Christmas spirit! The cottage is well laid out and has everything you could possibly need and much much more. Caroline and Marcus are lovely people who take great pride in their cottage and really want guests to relax and enjoy their stay. Nothing is too much trouble. Super dog friendly too, with special treats for your furry friends. Sabden is a lovely village with glorious views all around. We didn’t have great weather over Christmas but we still managed some great local walks with our dog. The Ribble Valley is a fantastic area for exploring, walking and of course for eating out. You really can’t go wrong here, just book it and enjoy!
