This was my very first Vrbo rental and I can say nothing less than praise and genuine gratitude for the host hospitality. Dan rapidly answered all my questions before and during as late as 9 pm. This rental is a hidden gem in the woods. Giving the most beautiful sunrises over Lake Michigan. It was designed and built as a personal spa retreat. Kitchen was well stocked for home cooking, appliances brand new. Beautiful fire place and east and west picture windows to see the beauty God created. Spa master bathroom gorgeous something surreal as sitting in the hot tube as it begins to rain in the night or hearing the waves crash from Lake Michigan while you sleep. This location could easily be one an artist could paint. But truly the readiness, kindness and availability of the Host Dan is what I will remember most. He spoke to me as an old friend instead of a stranger. A very huge thank you!!!! If I had anything I wish I could change is this. A stairs going down to the beach.

This house was absolutely amazing! The view was spectacular and truly stunning—pictures don’t do it justice. The home was spotless, beautifully arranged, and equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need for a perfect getaway. The hot tub was clean and relaxing, which made our stay even more special.We loved spending quality family time here, and every moment felt comfortable and peaceful. This is the best vacation house I have ever stayed in so far, and I will definitely be booking it again for our next vacation. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay!

Spectacular. This property checks off every box that you would want in a VRBO. The view of the lake. The sound of the waves. The fire pit, the backyard and the hot tub. The owner/managers of this property are true professionals and set the standard across-the-board on how properties should be organized and managed. We’ve stayed at many rentals and have been pleased, but Dan and his wife have raised the bar. Everything is thoughtful and intuitive: to the details of how pristine the utensils are, how the drawers are organized, the layout of the house, the various seating arrangements, are all intentional with us/we the short term users in mind. I hope you experience this place as well!

Early Memorial Day getaway

Girls birthday retreat

We spent 2 nights at this wonderful home. It is our annual birthday retreat. The Kitchen was well appointed-everything we needed! It was so sunny and cheerful! The linens were top notch, too. The whole place was VERY clean! The hot tub was well maintained and it was easy to lift the lid and put it back in place. We would come back for another year!

Peaceful getaway with a beautiful view

The check in process was super easy and the owners were on top of everything. We had a minor issue and they were quick to respond. A very peaceful place. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the view! My family and I enjoyed time at the beach a few minutes down the road and also found a new fav doughnut place(Sunday donuts). We would definitely stay again!

Lovely home - gorgeous location

Lidia was a fantastic host and this location is lovely - from style and aesthetics, to amenities, and of course the fabulous soak tub and outdoor hot tub overlooking Lake Michigan. Sunrise and sunset over the lake...the sounds of crashing waves absolutely encouraged relaxation. We would absolutely go back.
