In the back of the villa you can relax in your garden overlooking a unique landscape: the Menorquin countryside. Villa La Encina consists of 2 floors: on the ground floor we will enjoy a spacious living room with modern and comfortable decoration overlooking the pool from its large windows, a new design kitchen fully equipped with all kinds of appliances, a bathroom complete with shower and a colonial style double bedroom, with access to the garden, always accompanied by lots of light, the main feature of the house. On the upper floor, we find a spacious and bright suite overlooking the sea, exquisite modern decoration contrasted by the warmth of the wood, equipped with a full bathroom covered with ceramic mosaic of 1st quality coral color with whirlpool bath and an elegant dressing area in addition to 2 DOUBLE rooms of contemporary design, with large fitted wardrobes as in all rooms and exit to the viewpoint. Property was as advertised,clean and had everything we needed.nice peaceful location.easy check in.we had a lovely weeks stay,our son especially enjoyed the swimming pool and we made use of it everyday.kitchen was well equipped,with fridge,freezer,dishwasher,washing machine,coffee machine ,and all your cutlery and plates.easy walk to a selection of bars,restaurants and shops down at the marina.i have a feeling we will return to this villa again in the future.our first villa experience and we really enjoyed it.it was lovely sitting outside of an evening by the pool and enjoying peace and quiet.when we went at the end of october all the restaurants were starting to shut down for the year,but we ate out a few nights and all food was nice.a pleasant stay.

Villa Encina was an ideal place to stay ,close to the resort centre, plenty of room for a family . Pool area was good , even though we had a patio canopy to use when it got too hot , a couple of sun umbrellas around the sunbeds would be perfect

Villa Encina
The Villa is well situated within five mins of Supermarkets and bus stops to Ciutudella (well worth a visit) it's also less than ten mins from the great selection of restaurants, gift shops and a beautiful white sand beach with turquoise sea in the marina. Menorca is beautiful! the Villa Encina has front and rear sun trap gardens, the pool was perfect and cleaned by an extremely friendly gardener who kept the gardens in check whilst we stayed. Inside the Villa are polished tiled floors a little slippery when wet please be aware...there is plenty of storage and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Take more of your own towels as one set is supplied but quickly used by a large group. One thing to note about the villa if you go early in the season is that the shutters on the doors and windows are difficult to open and close at first possibly in need of some grease, the Internal doors to the front of the villa do not lock so for peace of mind we cable tied the front shutters at night a silly issue that didn't ruin the stay at all but could do with a fix. Frederico and Heike were both lovely and super helpful when needed. Well worth a stay

We have visited Menorca on numerous occasions and we were thrilled to arrive at our villa. Extremely clean and Fedrico was extremely quick at sorting out our requests. Giving us extra pillows and the cleaning of the pool. Check in was easy and contact between us was constant. The villa is well equipped with everything you will need for your holiday. Quick note that there are steps into the villa. We were extremely happy with the villa and had a fab holiday. Hopefully we will revisit soon. Thank you.

First impressions good but........
No welcome pack/information pack about where rubbish can be disposed of, when pool gets cleaned, we washed the towels only for someone to come to the villa asking if we wanted them washed. Lack of information about surrounding area and places to eat etc. 2. No sun umbrellas for around the pool and the canopy does not shade all the party if needed. 3. Broken sunbeds 4. Patio furniture to big for the space under the canopy had to keep rearranging it to seat everyone. 5. Bed sheets over white ikea settee's (not what I would expect from a villa of this size and description on homeaway) 6. Insufficient cutlery that Antonio sorted when I emailed him. 7. Basic kitchen utensils not high end and cheap, no proper bread toaster and travel kettle not sufficient for 9 people. 8. Broken dining chair so not everyone could sit at the table. 9. Broken light shade at foot of stairs and bare wires hanging from ceiling. 10. Single beds, cheap mattresses (or old) very uncomfortable and all that slept (or couldn't sleep on them as the case was) complained of bad backs and necks 11. Not enough pillows for any of the beds 12. The towels are of poor quality and not even bath sheets, not was expected and most had stains on them. 13. No hand soap in all of the toilets. 14. Both of the children had to be taken to the local doctor as they ear infections (the doctor has said it is from the pool) which I can only imagine was not cleaned properly. In previous villas we have stayed in all around the world, our pool has been cleaned daily, your pool was only cleaned once whilst we were there. 15. The extra bed was poor quality and the child slept with her feet higher than her head until we put blankets underneath her head to remedy this. 16. Had to request a hairdryer, even though in the description it said there were hairdryer(s) Location is perfect if you don't have a car and this Villa would be amazing if the small details were seen to, we paid a couple of thousand for a week so expected this to be high end and of top quality and it wasn't! Would definitely return to Menorca but not this villa unfortunately!

We had a super week in Menorca, the villa was clean, modern and well equipped. It was only a short walk to the marina, where there are lots of bars and restaurants. The pool was a perfect depth (for the kids) and temperature. A very restful week! Would recommend.
