Genial staff allowed me to practice my German instead of immediately switching to English, as many would do. Room was clean and modern, a short walk from the train station and to the heart of the old town. The hotel itself and the ground floor restaurant have preserved many features of the building's three or four hundred year history, a delight for this traveler.

It was a very comfortable hotel, clean and housekeeping was exceptional. good choice at breakfast, very central for shops and cable car, also Cathedral. I would recommend this hotel, also very close to the railway station

Everything was fine and I was able to leave my bag at reception. There was no air conditioning and this might have been a problem during the summer as there was some noise when the window was open.

It was away from the crush of the main drag but still in the center of everything. The hotel is small and cute and if you get a balcony you can avoid a trip to see the matterhorn as its visible from the hotel on a clear day. The room was quaint, confortable and spacious with a bathtub. Breakfast included it’s great value. Loved it!
