Family vacation

We had a fabulous time with our 2 adult children and their spouses for one week and then my husband and I enjoyed a lovely 2nd week by ourselves.The view is spectacular, we enjoyed the beach below, loved that we could sit in the shade so stay as long as we liked. The food truck was great.We were met at the airport by Annabelle who guided us to the house (pointed out the grocery store on the way)and helped get us settled with a quick beverage, gave us a few suggestions on beaches & resturants.We took advantage of all the island has to offer - 3 highlights - catamaran sail to Buck Island for snorkeling, Sandy Point Beach and the hike to the Tide Pools. A great spot! Highly recommend.

Chill and comfortable

The owners went above and beyond to assist us in all our needs at Cane Bay. Having concierge guide us from the airport was invaluable. The home was so comfortable and well appointed. It was so easy to unwind. The only jump scare was the trek up and down the hill to the property, but with 4 wheel drive, it all worked out. We will always look back at our stay fondly!

Great stay

The property was just as the pictures showed. Well stocked bathrooms and kitchen. Beautiful views and great mid island location. We enjoyed all the restaurants at Cane Bay beach and went to the breakfast trailer one day. We were very happy we switched our sedan to a jeep, not just for the house but the whole island. The greeter was very helpful meeting us at the airport car rental line, directions and tons of great information.. Thank you!

My wife's 40th Birthday Bash.

Cane Bay cottage was awesome! What a treat is was to stay there and experience St. Croix. Annabel, the concierge was most helpful and met us right at the airport and showed us the grocery store, local area and the way to the house. Normally, I wouldn't think this service would be needed but it definitely helped and was very useful. We lucked out with the weather as it was the end of hurricane season. I would definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive car rental. The road up to the cottage can be a bit challenging the first few days. Our group really enjoyed a day boat trip out to Buck island. The coral was incredible and there were quite a few turtles and plenty of gorgeous fish. The cottage was kept up very nicely. The air-conditioning worked well and all the showers, etc. Having stayed at quite a few island properties, this is not always the case... We loved the pool and the views of the bay. After spending a few days going all around the island, we realized that the best beach for hanging out and snorkeling was right in front of us the whole time! Make sure and spend some time right there in the bay. I would 100% recommend a stay here and hope to return soon.

Wonderful

Our family of 4 had an amazing stay at Cane Bay Cottage. The listing photos and description are completely accurate. The furniture, beach chairs, kitchen items were all great. There was nothing we needed that was not provided. Annabel the host was great from start to finish. She was very responsive and made us fantastic rum punches upon arrival at the home. I highly recommend this rental!

This was our 5th extended vacation in St. Croix but our first time at Cane Bay Cottage. We loved everything about this property. It was clean and well equipped. The views were breathtaking and the panoramic vistas were always changing and simply mesmerizing. It was very private and we loved that. We were nestled in the beautiful cottage high on the hillside with nothing but nature. Waking up to that view from the master bedroom was a highlight of the trip. The owners were wonderful to deal with and extremely responsive. Annabelle was wonderful and gracious on island. The road, with its 3 hairpin turns was one of our favorite parts. We have not one negative to say. Cane Bay Cottage is truly a gem and we nicknamed it Paradise. We are hoping to repeat the same 18 days next year. Jeff and Cassandra, thank you for opening your beautiful home for others to enjoy!

Absolutely Beautiful

The photos barely do it justice— the view is spectacular! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cane Bay Cottage. From the moment we landed, the concierge was wonderful. The house was perfect. It was lovely being so close to Cane Bay beach and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Amazing vacation spot!

This was a magical place to spend a week. The location is perfect (if you’re looking for tranquility while still being close to Cane Bay, restaurants, etc) and the views are pretty much unbelievable (the gorgeous photos on the listing don’t even convey the beauty!). I would highly recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle (we rented a jeep) since the roads are steep and rough. Though the house is way up the hill, you can still hear the waves from Cane Bay perfectly! Highly recommend!!!

The Best!

Peaceful paradise

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat with absolutely stunning surroundings, this is the spot. While there are restaurants and an awesome beach within minutes, you can escape back up the cottage to take it all in and relax on the wrap around porch or in the pool. It is very quiet and welcoming. The pictures can’t capture the real awesomeness! We rarely spent any time indoors because the yard and porch were just the perfect spot! The breakfast food truck down the hill on Tuesday, Thursday, saturday and Sunday is an awesome choice before the other restaurants open around 11. Anabel was very helpful meeting us at airport and being the contact person on the island during our stay. We definitely want to come back!

Great villa!

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful week at the villa. It exceeded our expectations in every area! The view was breathtaking and the outdoor area to enjoy that view was very spacious with covered and non-covered areas. The pool is perfectly placed as well. The villa was very clean, kitchen was well stocked, and the master bedroom had an amazing view, comfortable bed and option for air conditioning. We didn’t use the air in the rest of the house because the windows and breeze were enough but can be an option for those who prefer that. Shera contacted us before our visit, met us at the airport and answered our many questions during our stay-she was very helpful and friendly! As other reviews have said, the roads are a bit challenging with a lot of potholes too so a 4WD is very helpful. We really enjoyed Sandy Beach, Leatherback Brewery, The Landing, Sea Thru Kayaks, Christiansted Boardwalk and Cane Bay Beach (right down the hill). We highly recommended this villa!

Beautiful location

This home is in a perfect location with an amazing view of the ocean. I was surprised on arrival that I could hear the waves!! The house was comfortable, you can't beat the porch and pool area. Large space with deck furniture for lounging, table for eating, all in the shade. Then sunny pool area with lounge chairs. Sunset view every night!! Owners, concierge, property manager, everyone was very communicative and want to answer your questions and help. A big shout out and thanks to Shera who met us at airport, showed us to the house and answered our many questions about where to get groceries and find a doctor. Fyi Pro Health Urgent care was professional and got our needs met so we could then resume vacation. :) Also, down the street from house is a beach and several restaurants that are great!

We enjoyed our stay at the home. Very secluded with fantastic view of both the forest and the ocean. The sound of the waves was so relaxing. Was taken from airport to home which made everything so much easier as my first time on the island.

Amazing Home With Privacy and Incredible Views

All I can say is Awesome! This was our second time visiting St. Croix. This home has everything you need. We loved the privacy, especially the pool area. We spent most of our time out by the pool and on the deck. The views are incredible. The owners were very responsive as well as the host and property manager. Yes, the road is a little scary at first but you get used to it and well worth it. We also had a wonderful dinner at AMA Cane Bay on the water (highly recommend). Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We will be back!

Piece of paradise

This was my second trip to Saint Croix. This time, to celebrate my sister’s 50th birthday. I selected Jeff and Cassandra’s house because of the stunning views and great location, and thought it would be the perfect place to introduce my family to the beauty the island has to offer. The convenience of being close to a beach, and one of the best dining experiences at Ama’s (literally next to the waves) within minutes of drive, made it even better than I expected. Waking up to the view of the ocean and lush mountain greenery every morning, was peaceful and breathtaking..The communication with the host was easy and quick. Prior to our trip I reached to Jeff with any questions/concerns and he put me in touch with one of his concierges. Annabelle was a delight and texted with me so we could arrange to have certain grocery items purchased ahead of time. She met us at the airport and we followed her to the house. I was concerned because the road leading up is indeed windy if you’re not used to that sort of thing. But we felt safe in the gated property and felt comfortable with the drive in no time! The house had every amenity and felt like home. We’d definitely return!

Things you should know….

The villa and pool are amazing. The island and amenities leave a lot to be desired. The local restaurants are OK but after a week they get old. We lost power a number of times one for 12 hours. You have no cell service you have no water, the gates will not open without electricity unless you can figure out how to open the gate. I had to reset the pool pump the pressure tank for the cistern. I was asked to hook up a generator. That I thought was a little unexpected. This place should have its own generator and air conditioning throughout the building not just in the bedrooms. We made the best of the vacation. The beaches are small and remote. We went to the casino. Make sure you come back before dark. It’s a scary ride. We left one of the local restaurants at dark and a bunch of drunks, threw beer cans at our car coming out of the landing restaurant the police didnt care about anything like that the Island never recovered from the hurricanes in 2017. Do a lot of research before you select this location
