The Colonial inn is a solid choice for the price. My stay there was fine. It is an easy 15 minute walk into the central city.The rooms are large and practical and the bathroom and kitchen are clean and totally functional. The Motel is undergoing some maintenance which is good because it is a little run down. Because there is no double glazing I found the road noise was quite loud.

Stayed 3 nights and was pleasantly surprised how enjoyable our stay was. Room was basic: bed, shower, small tv, jug and microwave. But it was sufficient and affordable. Wifi worked fine except last night of stay so tv came and went but motel was full. Parking was good round back. Dated and old but clean. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Property is clean and close to great amenities. Only thing that could do with improvement is the showers - they are average at best. Fill Up with water and hard to control the temperature plus the huge step in and out was a safety concern. TVs also do not work well with many channels either not available or not working properly
