The best part of this rental was the location and the view.
We enjoyed the view and the location of the rental, the reason for the 3 stars. Do not expect for this rental to offer comfort. The beds were old and master bedroom bed creeked. There were sand and dirt on the floor. The couch is old and broken. The walls were peeling and there were crumbles (asbestos?) in the second kitchen by the water heater, which hadn't been cleaned for awhile. We also only had one functioning shower, although there were 2 bathrooms; one of the showers did not drain at all! There were only 3 fans, one for each bedroom, and it was very hot and humid in the rest of the unit.There were also 4 of us with one set of key. We asked for an extra set of key so that we can come and go at different times and the owner told us that she only had one set. However, at the check out time, they told us to leave what was "the only set of keys they had" on the table. It really didn't offer us the comfort or the convenience with our stay. Without its great location, I would give 1 1/2 to 2 stars. It is overpriced and over-promise of what the place offers. We will definitely visit Chioggia again for the beauty and culture it offers. But will be seeking for a better place to stay.
