The property was located in the perfect location on the island! The property was right next to horses which was such a unique experience. The lookout on the top was a beautiful place to eat the delicious breakfast! Such a wonderful stay! I cannot wait to visit again soon!

The Refugee Inn was a quiet, serene stay with a woodsy feel with convenient shops and restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was delivered each morning and was delicious. The coffee from a local cafe was absolutely delish and We went back for seconds and thirds! The on-site gidt store was also convenient and reasonably priced. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Loved this property. It was our first pony swim and the front desk gave us excellent advice on where to park. It is a charming inn that felt like home away from home. Older property but extremely well kept. It was very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Loved having breakfast and coffee available. We will be back!

Our stay at the Refuge Inn was comfortable, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's conveniently situated right at the entrance of the national park, with everything—including shops and restaurants—within walking distance. There's even a McDonald's right next to the hotel. However, there were a few aspects we didn’t like. The rooms do not have a microwave, which would have been helpful. Also, the breakfast was quite minimal—mostly pre-packaged, ready-to-go items delivered to the room. While we understand there may be space constraints, having a designated breakfast area that serves a more substantial meal would definitely enhance the overall experience.
