The sky dome is incredible. The views are breathtaking in the daytime and evening. The family are very welcoming and knowledgeable. The food is delicious. We did an alpaca and llama walk to an inca site which was a memorable experience.
The property is so quiet and private with amazing views of the valley. They have meals available for purchase since it is very remote--the food was great! They also have activities to participate in local culture. I wish we had stayed more than one night, it is one of my favorite memories from Peru! They have 2 sweet farm dogs, alpacas and llamas that are all friendly to pet and take pictures with. I highly recommend taking a break from the city to stay here!
Joel and Cidelia were amazing hosts who treated us like family. Joel built his home and the sky domes from scratch. We had the wonderful opportunity to cook with Cidelia and have dinner with their family. The domes were awesome. It does get a little cold, but they were more than accommodating with blankets. Be prepared to glamp. The location and views were amazing. We enjoyed beer and a beautiful view overlooking the valley on the mini bar near our sky dome.
This was an excellent adventure, the host was so friendly and she helped us in all that we needed…The room has and excellent view.
Also we visited Machuqolqa because it is close to the room
